All right all you fascists, communists, statists, anarchists, minarchists, socialists, libertarians, and authoritarians. It's time to see where you all stand.
I know this has been done before in the past, but humor me.

Mind you, I don't see the point of such tests, because I could have told you that anyway.

I took the test a few months ago and got ...
Economic Left/Right: -7.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.62
When I took the test 5 years ago, in relation to the thread Far left - US/UK definition, I got ...
Economic Left/Right: -6.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.41
So I seem to be getting more left wing and more liberal as I get older.

WK

Here you go:
Pretty much the same from when I did this last year, if I remember correctly.
Mind you, the test is perhaps to "american". For instance, the question of "the rich are too highly taxed". I answered yes, because It hink in my country they are. However, if this is about american taxes, then my answer would be no. Not that that single question would've altered the outcome significantly, but there were some others.

Okay, first thing's first... I can't get the image to show up, and I know I'm using the correct code. Open img and close img. What's the damn problem?!?!

Yes, the test is a little too Americanized. Some people also claim that it isn't comprehensive enough and that some of the questions are loaded.
I think it gives you a decent ballpark figure, but I wouldn't be opposed to a revised edition.

Your political compass
Economic Left/Right: -6.88
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.23
About the same as always.

I had this problem, you can't just link to the results image from the political compass site. What you need to do, as I discovered peeking at Dr. A's post, is link to the img it produces for facebook, which has an ending after The Political Compass of the format - "/facebook/pcgraphpng.php?ec=-7.002&soc=-6.62".

It is not exactly my result. It is Huntard's result. But, it is close to what I had when I took the test years ago.

My result wanders around whenever I take it, although it seems my march towards the centre has reversed. I blame the ConDems.
