quote: quote: Buz, I think you should move there. It's your perfect world with the colonial era laws and all. I'm sure god would want you to move there, considering how socialist and evil this country is becoming. Tell me if you want to move. I'll do a fund raiser to help you move.

Tell me if you want to move. I'll do a fund raiser to help you move. This seems less like an actual discussion and more like a personal attack. Buz seems like a strange one to single out. Of all the Christians, he's one of the most silent on the issue of gay rights/marriage. "Political correctness is tyranny with manners." -- Charlton Heston

Personal attack? Please. Buz implied before that he supported the criminalization of homosexuality. I was just excited for him that I actually found a perfect place for him to live in, considering he's been bitching about how socialistic and communistic America is becoming.
Besides, there are other qualities that country has that Buz finds ideal. The christian churches there actually have control of the government and women have next to no rights there. As soon as I get his blessing, I will begin a fund raiser to help him move there. I'm sure he'll enjoy living there where he can openly condemn the sinful and wicked. PS - I was all ready to say goodbye to brother Limbaugh. I was really happy hearing that he'd move to Costa Rica. Too bad Brother Limbaugh has decided to stay in this evil Soviet America. Edited by Taz, : No reason given.

What on Earth are you talking about? I'm simply embracing Buz's beliefs.
(1) Buz wants to criminalize homosexuality. (2) Buz wants christian churches to control the government. (3) Buz wants to see the man having more control over the woman like the bible teaches. Go ahead and ask Buzsaw.

Can you point out to a single thing in this thread I've said that's wrong? Buz has been complaining how sinful and evil American society is becoming. I found his dream society. Moving there or not is entirely up to him.

Personal attack? Please. Buz implied before that he supported the criminalization of homosexuality. Yes, a "personal" attack... Notice the word, "Buzsaw" in the premise. I think it might better serve you to just compile a list of things you hate and then casually mention that Buzsaw seems to like all the things you hate. I have heard of some of his IMO crazy ideas long before I ever saw a single post of Buzsaw's. To single him out to the exclusion of all other enemies of 'truth, justice, and the American Way' is somewhat unfair. At least Buz has the guts to continue to post his crazy ideas here, what would we do without him? Pick on newbies? Besides, it is his heroes, the drug-addled Limbaugh, the certifiable Beck, and the con artist (name your favorite televangelist), who are the real source of hate, fear, and misinformation (done for personal gain over the general good of either humanity or Christianity). The idea of the sacred is quite simply one of the most conservative notions in any culture, because it seeks to turn other ideas - uncertainty, progress, change - into crimes. Only us. - the character Rorschach in Watchmen

I suppose in a way that would give him far more credit than what is due as it relates to originality. "Political correctness is tyranny with manners." -- Charlton Heston

Perhaps I should explain a little bit. I pick on him because he's old. He's now in his 60s. He's also got a lot of authority at his church. His ideas may sound totally off the wall to us, but there are honest to god people who are learning those things from him right now. And those same people will grow up hating and spreading just like cancerous cells.
No, he's not just a symptom. Someone like sleeve is a symptom. Buz is more than a symptom. He's part of the tumor.

Buz is more than a symptom. He's part of the tumor. And I suppose you are the cure? This thread is very distasteful and I hope you come to better senses by abandoning it. "Political correctness is tyranny with manners." -- Charlton Heston

I agree, this is nothing more than a personal attack.
