Feature suggestion
It would be nice if there were a a way to distinguish between a member's voluntary inactive status and an admin administered permanent suspension. Both, I believe, simply place the word "inactive" below the member's name.

You need not ever to worry for me. Think of it this way. Percy is god. I'm satan. God have struck down fallen angels, but you don't see him ever striking down satan do you?

God is patient and longsuffering, even with Satan. Take no long term comfort in that though, for the prophecies never fail. As per Revelation 12 the devil first gets cast to earth having great wrath knowing his time is short and in Revelation 20 he finds himself in the terrible lake of fire, he and his angels being what the lake of fire was made for.
ABE: We're all glad you've not gone away. Unlike the devil, you're redeemable.

Spychotic breakdown... true story
Last night, after a long day, I opened up EvC website and began to read. When I got to the responses to this post of mine, I found that my hands began to shake. Especially buzsaw's and ICANT's insistence on taking my walking analogy out of context...
I began to come here and read because it was entertaining, but as time went on people's ignorance and persistent dishonesty, especially when these traits are found in self-proclaimed reverends and preachers... leaders of men, finally got to me. In other words, I can't take it anymore.
Going back to last night, I wanted to respond by my hands were shaking too much to type. All I could do was press the power button and shutdown my computer. Then, I went downstairs to get a drink. Before I know it, my shaking had spilled water out of my glass onto the floor.
This might be an indication I am not mentally equipped to deal with the ignorance and hate on a debate site such as this. I might come and lurk from time to time. this post of mine, I found that my hands began to shake. Especially buzsaw's and ICANT's insistence on taking my walking analogy out of context...

Hi Taz,
I know what you mean. You are not the only one who has shouted ineffectual abuse at their monitor recently. It sounds like you need to relax mate. Treat yourself. Do something fun, preferably involving ice-cream. Take a hot bath, read a good book. Forget about debating with mentalists for a while. Most of the board members are too entrenched to change their minds either way, so don't take it to heart. Don't underestimate your contribution either. I hope that you are soon back on an even keel.

Re: Spychotic breakdown... true story
I agree with Gran. So many people have left here. I've enjoyed your posts Taz and you do have a lot to contribute. But I know what you mean about getting stressed over posts. This sort of discussion board does not make for many calm, friendly conversations. By its nature it brings people together who feel strongly about their views. I've learned that you're usually not going to change anyone's mind and it may be worthwhile asking yourself why you are here and what you want to accomplish -- because converting creos? Ain't gonna happen, 99 cases out of 100. You may feel you've made the most devastating hatchet job of their latest claims, but if they don't want to listen they won't. You may feel you are trying to do them a favour by showing them how they can follow where you went -- but they're going to have to do that, if ever, when they themselves are ready.
It has to be said, too, that I think it helps if we all try to listen to each other, because there's always something to be learned from what the other person is saying. I've learned a fair bit from talking to creos and I've also learned from evos here -- positives and negatives both ways.
Have that rest and take care

I am sorry it upset you, but if good news is to come out of it - I would not have noticed had you not provided the link. I wonder if perhaps many others will be curious about this turn of events and take a look at the antics displayed. Sometimes what you post does not have its desired intent, but its still possible to have a positive effect.
This might be an indication I am not mentally equipped to deal with the ignorance and hate on a debate site such as this.
I have had a few moments recently, I am sure others have felt this way from time to time. Take a breather, lurk, and I hope to see you agian in the future.

For what it is worth, I'm just taking a needed break myself for similar reasons. Hope to see you around in the future, if not here than at least somewhere.

Whatever on earth did I say hateful in my response to your message, Taz??
1. I did what we all do on debate forums day in and day out. I put forth my assessment of your position in a goodspirited manner.
2. Did you shut down before reading the last line of my response to you as follows?

For what reasons? I'm still confused as to what upset Taz. Man, if we creationists, having been accustomed to far harsher responses from our counterparts over the years were as touchy as you people are being we'd have been gone on our own volition long ago.
Is it that you and Taz don't have a host now to prop up your vulnerable arguments?

I said similar reasons, not the same reasons.
Is it that you and Taz don't have a host now to prop up your vulnerable arguments?
What host? If you want me to crush your arguments, provide a statement about your interpretation of one of the physical sciences, which I believe you will inevitably get completely wrong. It will most likely be treated like your previous unexamined and ignorant assertions concerning things like how Hovind, Falwell, Robertson, et al. never told a lie; how the city of Tyre does not exist today; how Wyatt was not at least self-delusional and more likely certifiable; and so on that I have had a part in exterminating in the past.
Go ahead, PNT that Buzsaw hypothesis with all that purported scientific evidence as I have requested you do in the past as it is off-topic here. I promise I will post if someone else here does not tear your arguments to such shreds first I have nothing to add.
I never realized you missed me so much.
