Now there are two reply links in the message footer, one called
reply (
) and the other called
reply quote (
).
Using
reply indicates you're replying to that message, but that you don't want to quote anything from the message, or that you'll cut-n-paste on your own, and so it starts with an empty message box.
Using
reply quote indicates you're not only replying to that message, but that you want to quote passages from the message, and so it starts with a message box containing UBB quote codes around the message.
