Ohnhai found a bug that took a couple iterations to fix - detecting logged in members was partly broken for a while this afternoon. The test site should be working fine now: http://EvC Forum: Forum List

Is this a bug or am I the only person logged in?
The software is telling me that there are 31 people online - me and "30 vistors".
Is that a bug in the software or have user display peferences changed in some way?
edit: ah.. maybe it's because people are still logging back in!
Edited by Charles Knight, : Clarification of point.

Wait what's going on? (post/thread not appearing)
This is a strange question - can anyone else see this? Respond if you can?

Re: Wait what's going on? (post/thread not appearing)
I've made a couple of posts that are showing up fine, but there are no dates on anything, no times on the posts.

Re: Wait what's going on? (post/thread not appearing)
I am seeing date/time on your posts.
You might want to check your profile, particularly the timezone option.

Re: Dates and times on messages
I wasn't seeing any dates or times either, up until the "All Topics" page refresh I just did. Now I am seeing both at all the normal places. Seemingly, Percy just fixed another bug.
I note, at this time, that my "Session Started" time is actually later that the "Page Loaded" and "Current Time" times.

Not getting any times or dates
I checked it and as far as I know it's OK, but I'm still not getting any dates or times.
Did the "refresh" thing too. Nothing.
Edited by Faith, : No reason given.

Re: Not getting any times or dates
In your profile, set your time zone to:
Display times in the discussion board's time zone
That worked for me.

Re: Not getting any times or dates
That worked, thanks.
SO, there's a bug in the new feature that is supposed to allow us to set the time in our own zone.

Re: Not getting any times or dates
Yeah, but at least we have some times displayed now.
Is the board's time zone Eastern? Because if it is, then the displayed times should just be an hour ahead of mine, but the times are 2 hours ahead of mine.

Re: Not getting any times or dates
Hm, interesting. Yes, it's supposedly ET, but I'm getting a time that's four hours ahead of mine although it should be three.
Maybe there's a Daylight Savings Time glitch too?
Bugs galore.

Using Firefox.

The board time zone is Eastern. I too live in the Central time zone, but the message time stamps are only one hour ahead (as expected) for me.
