Simultaneously, we shall wonder whether research could proceed without such boxes, whatever the element of arbitrariness in their historic origins and, occasionally, in their subsequent development." Has a non-TC person gotten a hold of TC's password?

This is a test of Dan's signature. Had this been an actual post, I probably would have been lobbing penis jokes at Mike the Wiz. This is only a test.

Philosophical musings on a possible new or alterative sighnature
I really like my current signature, which I post sporadically (certainly not every Moose message / moosage) Possible new signature:
I know a little about a lot of things, and a lot about a few things, but I'm highly ignorant about everything. An original creation, as best I know. Moose Added by edit: I am NOT Bruce Graham. This message has been edited by minnemooseus, 12-25-2005 03:48 PM

Pile of quotations signature
I think I can get away with it, because I usually don't display the signature. That said, test! Moose

Sidelined's signature controvercy (of sorts)
To try to drag this from off-topic elsewhere. Sidelined's signature:
But I realize now that these people were not in science; they didn’t understand it. They didn’t understand technology; they didn’t understand their time. Admins comment at the above cited message:
That's a matter of opinion. Sideline's signature is a quote from Richard Feynmann. You can find the fuller context of the quote at many places around the Internet, for example, at Mr. Feynman's Politics | Mises Institute. Just a quibble - While he need not cite a reference, I do think an attribute for the quote would be a good and proper thing. As sidelined has presented it, I would interpret it as his own creation. Re: Sidelined's signature controvercy (of sorts)
Oh, you're right. Since I recognized the quote I didn't even notice there's no attribution. Sidelined should add it to his signature.
