Glad to have you aboard.The thing that folks seem to want to know how to do first is make quote boxes, like this: To see how this is done you can hit "edit" below my post and see the codes, or if you're composing a reply you can click where it says "UBB Code is ON" beside the text box. Go ahead and try it in this thread; it's the practice thread so no one will care.

By the way that was going to be my next Q. thanx for the welcome Mr. Frog. I see you have quite a few hits under the belt already. i am eager to learn, although my computer knowledge is severely lacking.. I will get the knack of it though!! It's quite nerve racking really, all the pros waiting for that exposed jugular..

Actually I think you'll find that the professionals here are very welcoming and friendly to folks who honestly want to know more, and are willing to ask questions to further their knowledge.It's the folks who arrogantly assume they know everything that tend to attract the brickbats. Follow the forum guidelines and don't try to pass yourself off as an expect if you're not, and you'll be welcomed warmly here.

cool bannanas, i am most thankful for the advice and will endeavour to remain true to the spirit of the forum. i am young and eager,and have alot to learn anyway... I now remember a quote.. "You never get a second chance to make a good first impression!" It's so much harder getting back on track once you've derailed, although it was so easy derailing in the first place. i think i will just lay low and try to think of something intelligent to Ask!
