I was going to post this under an existing topic, but decided a new topic was better.

Being that we no longer have Paul Wellstone, I thought that John McCain was a good senator to look into. I must say, John McCain's position is much more hawkish than I expected.

Seems like the same old McCain to me. He wanted a regime change in Iraq awhile ago. I am surprised he identified Saudi Arabia as a false ally. Most politicians (including the White House) refuse to acknowledge the fact.
Saudi Arabia is leery of us obtaining Iraq and it's oil production. The US can drop it's facade and cut ties with the Saudi's. It'll be a whole new world.
