After disappearing from a Great Debate topic a while back with Joralex, I decided I should take a break from posting. Then, I thought about posting again, but felt shame for letting Joralex win by default. Well, I want to post, at least occasionally, again, even though it's only getting closer to academic crunch time (I'm defending in the spring), so: 1. I'm sorry I let Joralex win. 2. Don't let me start another Great Debate.

I was impressed at Schraf's loyalty after your ignomy! In your defense, I felt I did a poor job moderating and judging the debate. I'd like to see more Great Debates in the future, but with the moderator only moderating, not judging, and the outcome determined by the "audience". --Percy
