Hi,
I am a creationist at heart, and I created a fairly light-hearted video showing why evolution cannot work.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SW0YqaNod-U
While I have attempted to be polite, others have saw fit to send abusive messages to me. All I intended to do was show that evolution cannot be proven, and that if someone can show me otherwise, I would be willing to partake in their experiments. What are they scared of? No one has issued me with a challenge; only name calling and insults.
Suggestions?

Bring your reasoning here
To have a good discussion you should state your reasoning here. Your video might be good for entertainment but it is better to see the reasoning written out so the thread here is complete in itself.
If you are polite then most people here will be polite back. However, polite doesn't extend to arguments. Those will be criticized to the degree they need it.
Fill out your OP (opening post) and then it maybe promotable for discussion.

I misunderstood
Ah, now that I have seen the video I realize that I took you too seriously.
Ha ha ha. It is a pretty good parody of the usual creationist argument. Of course they are usually self-parodying to such a degree that it is hard to top them.
I guess there is no need to promote this as you obviously don't intend it to be taken as seriously as I did at first.

Congratulations! You have proven, conclusively as far as I'm concerned, that life won't evolve out of a glass of water in 8 days.
However, since this is a hypothesis that nobody in the history of recorded science has never proposed, I hope you'll understand if the Nobel committee won't be calling any time soon.
Keep up the good work!

Nice Parody.
Actually a pretty nifty parody, unfortunately, Creationists do even better ones in all seriousness. Look at the absolute nonsense that has been published by Ray Comfort or Dr. Dino.
Keep it up though. Remember that it is very hard to parody something as silly to begin with as Creationism, but maybe you can find a new approach.

What hath man wrought?
How appropriate that you would demonstrate your experiment on the BOOB-tube, since your lack of basic understanding of biological processes shows what a BOOB you are. Any school child could tell you that you cannot create life from just a glass of water since life needs a carbon source. So I repeated your little experiment starting with an eight ounce glass of water, but to make sure that there was a carbon source I added a half tablespoon of salt (Sadism Clarified to you chemistry types) and several grains of fine playground sand. For several hours nothing happened. The water looked and smelled just fine. But then several small cloudy areas began to form. Over the next several hours, these cloudy areas increased in area and size. I became a little alarmed when those areas started to gel and take on a pale green coloration and started to move about in what appeared to a purposeful manner. It was not their irregular gelatinous green appearance that alarmed me so much, but the horrific screeching sounds they made as they crawled out of the glass and began to devour my kitchen counter tops and cabinets. The local police were called and they immediately boarded up my house, cordoned off the gathering crowd and called in the national guard for backup. The national guard now has my house surrounded with tanks and mobile howitzers and is trying to reach president Bush in his bunker for further orders. In the mean time, they have organized the towns clergy to march around my house three times while brandishing crosses, stars of david, and crescent moons (since the religious convictions of the irregular gelatinous green blobs - or IGGREBS as they are calling them - is not known at this time) and to organize a prayer vigil.
So, my question to you WDavid is, can I come and stay with you until my house is declared safe for occupancy?

Re: What hath man wrought?
You still didn't add carbon.
Salt is NaCl, sand is SiO2.

Steve Andrews knows what could happen but can Steve and Jane warn the townsfolk in time?

If it's serious: Bad argument, dude.
If it's a parody: Pretty funny stuff.
I can't actually tell if it's meant to be serious or not.

In the first place you are confusing evolution and abiogenesis which are 2 different things. Evolution is the change in organisms through natural selection. Abiogenesis is life forming from non living substances.
Secondly where is your proof the the Bible is correct? There is nowhere where it states that the "day"in genesis is 24 hours long.

There is no better love between 2 people than mutual respect for each other
