Well, maybe it's an indication of a mental defect in myself, but having read the four posts he's made to this point, I actually understand what he's getting at.I don't agree that it's anything more than his playing with the text, but I do understand what he's getting at. Some people really like applying those kind of figurative interpretations to writings. I suspect that it would only take equal creativity to make Moby Dick into the history of earth.
