Some nice competition

I just spent some time in church tonight, and the speaker was trying to get the point across that competition is only mentioned twice in the whole Bible. I would have dissagreed there, but I would have been jumped probably. But how can a person say competition is only mentioned twice in the whole book? I can think of at least three instances of competition in the time it's taken me to write this. I feel the entire Bible has a slight underlying sence of competition in it. But "speaker" was trying to tell us competition is not a good thing. What are your views on the topic?
