EvC Forum: Condemnation Thread for Recently Passed Reprobates

I will start this thread as two of my recent comments in the Tribute Thread for the Recently Passed Greats pertain to possible reprobate status. Jimmy Swaggart, a fallen televangelist was vilified by xongsmith and l responded. Looking back, you gave the initial eulogy Message 1370 and Taq respectfully replied to you, providing a photo:

Xongsmith (who usually adds names to the recent greats thread) replied with the first negative comment, which started me debating with him. What this thread would serve to do is to have Xongsmith begin his objection towards Swaggart being in the "Greats" thread by posting his response in this new "Reprobates" thread. As an example:

I would then not have needed to scold Xongsmith, and the issue could have rested in peace. Xongsmith, though feisty and opinionated, is not himself a reprobate, so I would not have needed to reply to his reply in this thread. Percy may have placed Swaggart in this thread initially if this thread had been around.

Next, my eulogy to Charlie Kirk would have remained in the Tribute thread for the famous, and the many comments that disagreed with me could have appeared here.

The Tribute thread would remain as such, and the Reprobate thread would be a place to voice opinions regarding reprobate status.

Rarely do I even mention a reprobate if I feel that such a person had some redeeming qualities in their life. If Trump died, for instance, his obituary could appear in either thread depending on the authors whims and feelings.
