What's great about all of this is the fact that I have finally been able to overcome my gambling addiction. Even if I never made a dime off of my online character the experience is worth far more than gold, in my opinion.

I think this is the whole crux of the Evangelical support for Trump. This is one thing that I have mentioned before which concerns me...the idea that a possible war arises due totally because of self-fulfilling prophecy behavior from evangelicals. Even if such a saga was believed, the belief and subsequent actions of society itself may bring such a war to fruition...and while believers gloat and say that the war would be proof it would, in fact, be their very belief that started it! What does everyone think?

Perhaps the real cause of conflict in the world stems directly from the demise of white men in power throughout the US and Europe. We had our day in the sun and we never got tan enough to fit in!

Because you are only one of us if you look like me, speak and act like me and believe like me... We Christians sometimes imagine that we are superior to lesser mortals who remain clueless as to the reality of God. You guys respond by asking for proof, which we don't have. One side believes that Without faith it is impossible to please God. The other side would assert that without evidence it is impossible to prove God. Thus we keep chit chatting and going around the maypole. I enjoy our discussions by and large, however. I'm just as human as you...and no better.  Edited by Phat, .

Why are none of those counted ? But if we generously accept that highly strained reading we still need a New Roman Empire and there is no sign of that since Mussolini. Many see a parallel between the United States and the Roman Empire, though a bit of a stretch and by no means conclusive. I will grant that believers see what they want to see, though I might assert that *we* believe that some Christians are actually guided by the Holy Spirit (God Himself). I will say that this group is a definite minority among Christians. Cults are another story. Personally, I agree with the idea that the United States could be Mystery Babylon The Great mentioned in the book of Revelation.
