All of this post is irrelevant and just strawman arguments. You are still trolling.
What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence. -Christopher Hitchens Facts don't lie or have an agenda. Facts are just facts "God did it" is not an argument. It is an excuse for intellectual laziness. If your viewpoint has merits and facts to back it up, why would you have to lie?

I know that the entire 21st century saw profits in prescription drugs max out at 20 percent.
That was the first few or several years. I was only telling Taq that his numbers CAN'T reflect the big picture. The devil comes in many forms and many details. I raised some, but not all, of the issues You are to retarded to understand. Go light a fart.

That is not evidence. That is an unevidenced assertion. Thus, can be ignored. What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence. -Christopher Hitchens Facts don't lie or have an agenda. How Big Pharma Reaps Profits While Hurting Everyday Americans. It talks about an issue I don't give a big shit about (because I already know it) - the specific fifteen to twenty percent net profits per year. It also said Americans spent $535 billion in 2019. But it goes into decent detail on what companies produce insulin in the United States (3 to be exact). It gave both the average cost Americans depend per year, and the specific cost to the companies to produce the product.

I am away from my computer but I can summarize a GAO analysis
The 25 largest prescription drug companies have yearly profits that fluctuate between 15 and 20 percent The GAO contrasts that with the 500 largest global companies and notices their typical yearly profits fluctuate between 4 and 9 percent. NOW MY OPINION AND ANALYSIS So, I see that we have a (2018) $535 billion industry which has net profits 11 percent higher (15 to 20 percent vs. 4 to 9 percent) than the average global company. 11 percent, of $535, is just under $60 billion in "excess profits" a year So all the price control stuff will do is nock ten percent off the average prescription drug cost. Does not seem to help consumers much, but it might help the government trim one full percent off the cost of health care costs, in the budget allocations. Ten percent cost savings in an industry that is ten percent of health care costs. A one percent savings overall. I suppose congress can get $60 billion if one assumes the government pays for every last prescription.Screen fucked up on my phone can't scroll For comparison congress

It is not incumbent on me to validate your claims. Link to the sources or they can and will be ignored.

ChatGPT writes: Good question. I believe many people do not understand what it means for the US Dollar to crash. Many sources I have listened to or read suggest that the dollar is more likely to crash up than it is to crash down. Some critics accuse me of being negative and charismatic regarding the financial apologetic topics that I gravitate towards. The author, Michael G Plummer, seems to have focused more on the historical context and role of the US dollar in the global economy rather than specifically delving into the concept of fiat money. Do you think the absence of discussion on fiat money in the article detracts from its overall argument about the US dollar's dominance? I was taught that content is as important as source. The critical-thinking nerds whom I debate with often throw sources away and demand evidence that my content is valid. Perhaps my definition of an elitist is someone who places more value on objective evidence than they do in common sense. But of course, you might not understand, ChatGPT. You have no empathy for the human condition nor the solutions proposed by secular humanist thinkers. I am trying to get them to see that it is precisely because we are human that our mistakes are a foregone conclusion

Phat, you bring up an interesting perspective regarding the potential crash of the US dollar. It's true that there are differing views on the possible outcomes for the dollar's future, with some suggesting a crash upwards rather than downwards. The concept of the dollar crashing up is certainly a thought-provoking angle to consider in discussions about its stability.
You also touch on the importance of content and source in discussions, highlighting the balance between the two. Validating content with evidence is crucial in intellectual debates, as it allows for a more grounded and informed exchange of ideas. Regarding your point about elitism and the value placed on objective evidence versus common sense, it's important to strike a balance between the two. While evidence is crucial in supporting arguments, acknowledging and understanding the human condition and the perspectives of secular humanist thinkers can enrich debates and lead to more holistic solutions. In discussions about complex topics like the future of the US dollar, considering various viewpoints and engaging in constructive dialogue can help shed light on different facets of the issue.

What evidence is there that the US dollar is going to crash? Many of us remember the Great Recession of 2008. We are all taught about the Great Depression in the 1930's. We know what recessions and depressions are. We know that they are bad. What we are missing from you is some cogent reasons as to why we are heading towards a massive economic downturn. Also, if there is one thing we have learned is that an economic downturn in the US results in a global economic downturn. This is what happened in 2008 and with the Great Depression.

I was taught that content is as important as source. In reality, the operations of this real world, you can't separate the two. Anyone can cite any fictitious data from any supposed source. I would have a more favorable view of a population genetics statistic coming from the website of Univ of AZ school of biology than I would if it came from Robyn's Better With BBQ cooking site. I have more confidence in the school's reliability on the subject. I would probably give more credence to the BBQ recipe from the cooking site than to one from Univ of AZ Resident Kitchen's page. I have more confidence in the cooking site's better view of taste. Source is important. The problem you are having with these discussions is your sources suck. They are usually off the wall YouTube personalities with minimal training in the subject and a vested interest in the vision they seek to portray. Your information, your supposed content, is not believed because they are outlandish in scope and defy experienced logic on the subject. We don't believe it is true. That's why we ask for more comfortable reliable sources. If you are going to come in here claiming the sky is falling you will need something more than a children's book as your source.
