Does this apply to all living things on Earth equally? Bacteria, bugs, snakes, etc ... ?
All can I really say that if God bothered to bring us into existence, (even if all that He did was to introduce consciousness into the world), then it makes sense that He wouldn't do it without some purpose in mind.

What an idiot you are! You are sent a list of links to the science behind how altruism is a positive and expected result of evolution in organisms like humans and you dismiss it. You are the problem, not science. Get over yourself and and examine the evidence presented to you. Accept you are wrong or present actual evidence that you are right. So far you have never presented any evidence at all about anything, just your beliefs and yearnings. You really need to grow up and accept the reality as it is.

With practice it appears that they might be able to determine what is being thought. Scientists Can Now Read Your Thoughts With a Brain Scan

No, we will not excuse you or anyone else for quote mining, as that is basically lying and is not an honest attempt at discussion or discourse.

So you are a man of no integrity then but we all already knew that per your posts.

As others have pointed out we are apes, it's monkeys that we only share a common ancestor with. So just to clarify, we aren't monkeys but we are apes.
I'm not equipped to discuss evolution but I understood that we didn't evolve from apes but that we shared a common ancestor.

If evolution opposes god then your god must not exist because evolution is actually a fact and has been occurring continuously since life began. Reality trumps your mythology.

The truth is that most fossils are probably transitional fossils. Your rejection of this is only a reflection of your lack of knowledge. Your lack of agreement with the scientific consensus is underwhelming evidence for us to reject said consensus.

Don't be an ass, there is no more reliable information about Odin then the Jewish/Christian/Muslim god. In fact, there is no evidence that any gods exist no matter how much you wish them to. You are deluding yourself as all religious followers do and have always done.

ICANT writes: I do have a problem with transmutation of one critter producing another kind of critter. A mule is a cross between a horse and a jack but two mules can not produce a mule. It's amusing that you bring up horses and asses when talking about this. They are an example of evolution where two branches of an earlier horse ancestor split off, probably because they became isolated from each other and evolved enough differences in their genes such that they produce sterile offspring. Over a greater period of time it would be likely that they wouldn't be able to reproduce at all. Why can't you understand that this IS evolution?

Your response in no way addresses the point of my post. I don't care about mules but found it amusing that you point out that horses and asses can reproduce but their offspring can't which is gives us hints about how different species arose from common ancestors. The only relevant information in your post was the information about the different chromosome count between the two which points to a definite gene mutation at some point in the past further separating these two species.

ICANT writes: But if all horses died and all jacks died there would be no mules to carry on evolution as you see it. Nope that is not as I see it and you know this but spout this nonsense anyhow.Mules aren't carrying on evolution as they are a dead end because they can't reproduce. Evolution happens to populations of life that are capable of reproducing. So evolution is occurring for horse and ass populations, but not for mules.

ICANT writes: So if evolution don't work for the offspring of Jacks and Mares how does it work for anything else? Please stop playing dumb, it doesn't reflect well on you as it's a form of lying. If you have ever even briefly looked into evolution then you will know, as I've stated before, that it is a process that only acts on breeding populations. So in this case evolution is working on the offspring of donkeys and also on the offspring of horses but not the hybrid mules because those are sterile. For organisms that sexually reproduce every new member of their population is a mixture of their parents DNA plus several mutations as reproduction is never perfect. It's these mutations that provide the new material for evolution to work on.

You forgot the other part of his post where he asked you to present your facts, you know the ones that don't actually exist as there is no factual basis to any religion they are all faith based. You can lie to yourself but we all can see through your lies.
