Thank you for providing evidence for common ancestry of primates.I have two questions for you. How much of our human DNA are shared among all people today? And how much of it is shared with other primates?I know I can look it up, but I'm asking you, so we can be sure that there is no disagreement on the numbers and you cannot accuse me of making anything up.

Human DNA is a pool of all the genes and their various alleles that exist in the population. By definition the human gene pool is all humans presently alive. From there new humans will be endowed with some combination of genes from this species-wide pool.What Taq maybe will tell you is that about 99+% of our genome is the same person to person. That last 1-% is what makes each of us unique individuals. With bonobos the shared percentage is down to 97-98% (?) the same genes in both human and primate gene pools.If I recall the numbers right I think we share about 60% of our gene pool with onions and other plants. Give or take.

What were you hoping to see in this data? What comparisons did you want to make with what expected result? Would you find significance to, say, a 99.865% sharing of genes vs a 99.832%?

I'm hoping to get a more accurate number and run different comparison methods. Also to understand the motivation behind different methods.Then, put the numbers in a mutation model, probably some kind of Monte Carlo system, and see what data can be expected and what not.

So you think you are going to come to some sort of conclusion that debunks the findings of the world's leading scientists and experts in the field?
