Oh dear ... you've forgotten to take your medication again, haven't you?
Medicine won't help AZPaul3 understand the truth. He needs repentance from his sin.

Phat:
This mania over Darwin is unrelated to the late man himself. He is simply a symbol of the thinking shared by many secular humanists. Now be a good Catholic and don't call them Darwinoids. They are critically thinking humanists and need to be respected as a belief in their own right. The belief they share isn't in evolution. It isn't in Darwin. It is in the mojo of each other. They are in essence a "church" without a head. They believe in positivity. In human reason. In data and evidence. And they will tell us that its not a belief. It is rationality itself.
Why do you care? You don't even understand what Darwin wrote.

Dredge:
... and perhaps an exorcism. I think demonic influence and deception is rife in the world today.

"when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be loosed from his prison and will come out to deceive the nations which are at the four corners of the earth" - Rev 20:7-8

I think so as well. Things that used to be done in secrecy are now done in the open.
1 whenever I would heal Israel,
the sins of Ephraim are exposed
and the crimes of Samaria revealed.
They practice deceit,
thieves break into houses,
bandits rob in the streets;
2 but they do not realize
that I remember all their evil deeds.
Their sins engulf them;
they are always before me.
Hosea 7:1-2

Phat:
Why do any of us care? Why do your opponents care enough about you to let you go on and on and on without some administrator booting you?

Is it that hard to admit that you don't know what Darwin wrote?

Re: Why Do WeCare?
Phat:
OK I'll confess. I know little about what Darwin wrote. It does not interest me. Now what?
It shows how little you (and biologists) know or understand about biological evolution. Here is a key paragraph from Darwin's On the Origin of Species found on page 115:
For it should be remembered that the competition will generally be most severe between those forms which are most nearly related to each other in habits, constitution and structure. Hence all the intermediate forms between the earlier and later states, that is between the less and more improved state of a species, as well as the original parent-species itself, will generally tend to become extinct. So it probably will be with many whole collateral lines of descent, which will be conquered by later and improved lines of descent. If, however, the modified offspring of a species get into some distinct country, or become quickly adapted to some quite new station, in which child and parent do not come into competition, both may continue to exist.
This paragraph gives the essence of Darwinian evolution, competition (which Darwin also calls the struggle for existence, and modification by descent. Biologists have done a reasonable job formulating the mathematics of competition, but they have failed to correctly describe the mathematics of modification by descent. And biologists don't understand how competition affects modification by descent. Since this is not of interest to you (because this is how bacteria evolve drug resistance and why cancer treatments fail), I suggest you find another thread that you are more interested in.

Re: Another Assault On Common Descent
AZPaul3:
Don’t be concerned, Phat. This is just Kleinman lying about the real math. He is trying to kill common descent which defies his views of Genesis. Like his two bogus papers his objections here also have no merit.
This is appropriate advice for Phat. It is ignorant advice to someone that doesn't care.

The facts. Just the facts, ma'am.
AZPaul3 hasn't learned much since getting an old quote from a television show from the 1950s.

Dredge:
Darwin was a famous nineteenth-century scientist and author who dabbled in both biology and fairy tales. One of his best fairy tales was the one about bears evolving into whales.

Unfortunately, some feeble-minded folks can't tell the difference Darwin's biology and his fairy tales.

It is not alway feeble-mindedness. In Phat's case, he just doesn't care. Drug resistance gives a demonstration of the fundamental way evolution (descent with modification) works and it causes tragic consequences.
Our antibiotics are no match for superbugs, and it’s a ‘global crisis,’ UN report says
Drug-resistant diseases cause at least 700,000 deaths globally a year, including 230,000 deaths from multidrug-resistant tuberculosis, according to the report, which was published Monday.
In the absence of concerted global action, the authors estimate that up to 10 million people may die annually by 2030 as a result of drug-resistant diseases.
