That also explains why it didn't work when I started testing but did when I retested. Thought I was going a little bonkers at first.

The hovertext is not working for me, even after a shift-reload (using current version of Firefox).
I can add or take back a "like", but I can not see who did the existing "likes", even if I click on the symbol. Moose

Problem is fixed.
My guess is you were logged out. When logged out the date was being fetched incorrectly, causing Javascript syntax problems.

Everything seems to be working now.
I was logged in from my perspective, but maybe I had timed out and wasn't logged in from the forum's perspective. Moose

If you think you were logged in then it is extremely likely that you were. The default is to log people out automatically after a year of no activity. The cookies that determine login status have a 1-year lifetime. There may be other causes of the behavior other than not being logged in, but that was the only one I was able to identify.

The hoverboxes for thread names now include the originator and the origin date. Do a hard reload to also see extremely minute improvements in formatting.

If I hover over the green cheers dot, I get the list of people who have cheered. But if I then click the orange dot to add my cheer, I get the "click for a list of topics participated in by ringo" message.

I see the same.
I see the problem as ringo describes after I give the cheer.I do the hard reset - everything works. Go to next message in thread, give a cheer to them. Text problem returns but for this message only(?), not on the prior message that has correct text. Seems whenever I give/delete a like the text changes. Hard resets fix it till I click another like. I lied. Simple reload fixes the text until I give/delete another like. Simple reload fixes it. But everytime I "like" the bad text returns. Strange.Stop Tzar Vladimir the Condemned!

Same behavior for me.

Same thing. Refresh of page fixes it.

The hoverbox issue is fixed. You'll have to do a hard reload.

I am currently looking at Message 1062.
There is a link there to "Message 1056". When I hover the mouse over that link, the hover box says:
quote: However, when I click, it does take me to message 1056 and not to any list of threads. Addendum: I did try a hard reload, but that did not change what happened. Edited by Admin, : Rerender the message, see if that fixes the problem. Fundamentalism - the anti-American, anti-Christian branch of American Christianity
