A music player. A simple music player. Why must it turn into something so f***ing difficult?
I have a Google Pixel phone. Not a Samsung because all the bloat-ware that imported make my previous phone unstable. Not an iPhone because the Genius at the Apple Genius bar assured me that it would be unusable for me (I need to connect to my Windows computer to transfer files).
I just want to be able to play the music files on my phone, the one that I choose. Simple, or? (hyper-typical Germanism -- "Das ist aber komisch, oder?"). I have just gone through four or five of the top music apps for Android and none of them work or else they try to lure you to the Dark Side that I, 70 years old, do not want to investigate.
So what app is there for playing the music file selected by the user? -- Android, of course! In all these apps I tried, I would choose a song and it would play something completely different. Makes absolutely no sense at all!
