i was looking for where all the JWST posts were and couldn't find them, so this is a new thread.
I just watched a delayed video of the live feed and WOW. Andy Chang, who thought up the whole DART program while excercising one day, was in the Zoom channels as it hit, reacting to the images as we were reacting.
They are now busy waiting to measure the orbit change and get images from the cubesat photos, but the DART pictures of the egg-shaped subasteroid covered with boulders were exciting to watch.
they are expecting the change to be about 10 minutes of the 11+ to 12 hour orbit around the bigger asteroid, Didimeus. spellings are phonetic estimates, sorry about that.
