There are certainly more than two predictions. The predictions in the Old Testament are generally vague as to when. The New Testament generally indicates the near future.

No. We're talking about Matthew 24. You can't use a different book to try to "fix" a failed prophecy in Matthew.
He gets that one wrong, too.
9 For three and a half days members of the peoples and tribes and languages and nations will gaze at their dead bodies and refuse to let them be placed in a tomb
It just says that people of different nations will look at the bodies. So all you need is a cosmopolitan city with a lot of foreigners.

Paulk, the two witnesses perform miracles that affect
the whole world. Read all of this chapter. We are at that
time in the days.

I have read it. Which is more than you have done.

The closest large city to me is Nashville. If something
happened there and a large part of city's population
saw it which would they say:

A large part of Nashville's population witnessed...

Or,

People from all nations; tribes; ethnic groups; and,
languages witnessed...
Is Nashville famous for being visited by many foreigners? Ancient Rome was. Or modern London. It would not surprise me if something similar were said about the Queen’s funeral.
Indeed, it is the sort of thing that might well be said about the Olympic Games, speaking only of the visitors, not the people watching on TV.
The deceits by which you deny the Bible are hollow and empty.

Nashville has a metro of roughly 2,000,000 inhabitants.
It has a much higher population than did Jerusalem 2000
years ago
But it isn’t population size that matters. It’s the number - and variety - of foreign visitors.

Okay Paulk,, who were the two witnesses?
They weren’t anybody because it hasn’t happened.
quote:
For them to
draw that much attention they much have been really
important.
You haven’t actually read the chapter have you? You’re just cribbing some apologist’s notes. Because if you had read it the reasons for the interest would be rather obvious.

Paulk, are you okay? You stated in an earlier post that
the Bible says the final battle was Actium, which set up
the Diadochi kingdoms.
I certainly did not. I pointed out that the battle of Actium ENDED the last of the Diadochi kingdoms, running out the time limit on Daniel 8.
quote:
Later you stated that the two witness were killed 2000
years ago.
I said no such thing.
quote:
Furthermore, you stated that the phrase about
all people, kindred, tongues, and nations referred to
Only the inhabitants of Jerusalem, where they were
killed.
I did not. I pointed out that the phrase could be satisfied by foreign visitors.
quote:
Since these two witnesses of God were so despised,
you must know who they are.
Since it did not happen they can’t actually be anyone.
quote:
Moreover, you now state that this event has not happened
yet, as I've already stated. It is an end-time prophecy.
Yes, the prophecy failed, just like the Daniel 8 prophecy failed.
It’s simple to understand.
