Dualism has already been expressed pretty well in this thread: It's mostly a myth. Where you have two Jews there are always three opinions:

Antonyms PLURAL. Dualism would require only ONE antonym: good/evil. If anything is kinda good or kinda evil, there is no dualism.

Again, "spread out" implies a large number of places where you can spread out to. It does NOT suggest an either-or dualistic situation.

Of course it does. We were not talking about hot/cold but that is an example that does not help your case. Hot and cold are both relative. Where I live, 10 degrees Celsius is chilly in summer but warm in winter.
