I think we are all racist, and should stand proudly so as that term relates to group loyalty and fellowship.
It is a form of expression from our selfish genes and should be given full throttle and priority. We have to be fans for our race and color without going to hate against the other team/race. Racism is created by our love for self and not the hate of others. That hate is self and peer imposed, to be used to protect what is loved and in jeopardy. I even have a little test that shows how we are all racist, and happy to be so when we look deep into the source of fellowship. RegardsDL

If you cannot be all things required in it's time, your not much of a man. Read the Gospel of Mary. It shows how we are all saints and bastards at the same time, in it's time. RegardsDL

So are you a heretic? What christian religion accepts the Gospel of Mary as part of their scripture? What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence. -Christopher Hitchens Facts don't lie or have an agenda. Facts are just facts "God did it" is not an argument. It is an excuse for intellectual laziness. If your viewpoint has merits and facts to back it up why would you have to lie?

It says that there is a time to be negatively racist and the intelligent know when.
We also know when to be positively racist. The best religions have something showing that we live in a dualistic world. RegardsDL

That hardly qualifies as describing it. Back into your hole troll.

Duality has a range and scale, I agree.
We live in a dualistic world and cannot help but scale what we are looking at. RegardsDL

GIA writes: I disagree. Though Yin and Yang may be polar opposites, they are an outdated take on spirituality. Ellis Potter describes the evolution of spirituality quite well in his book, The Three Theories Of Everything. We live in a dualistic world Dualism is merely one stop on the path."A lie can travel half way around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes." ~Mark Twain " *** “…far from science having buried God, not only do the results of science point towards his existence, but the scientific enterprise itself is validated by his existence.”- Dr.John Lennox “A God without wrath brought men without sin into a Kingdom without judgment through the ministrations of a Christ without a Cross.” “The most difficult subjects can be explained to the most slow-witted man if he has not formed any idea of them already; but the simplest thing cannot be made clear to the most intelligent man if he is firmly persuaded that he knows already, without a shadow of a doubt, what is laid before him.” — Leo Tolstoy, The Kingdom of God is Within You

Duality with scale implies there are 2 sides or 2 priorities/important-aspects and there's a scale between them. But that's not how the world is. There's a hell of a lot more than 2 sides to most important issues. There's generally more than 2 sides to most unimportant issues... but nobody really cares, because they're unimportant. Thinking complex situations can be reduced to 2 sides is simplistic thinking and only goes to show a lack of imagination and empathy. It's possible to say that issues come down to two sides... like discussions of democrat/republican arguments or socialism/capitalism or good/bad... but such simplification usually ignores complications and intricacies that describe other ways to view the situation that don't rely on those 2 themes.

The world is not dualistic. It's multi-faceted. Thinking there's 2 sides to every issue has the same problem as only seeing 1 side - being extremely limited. quote: I recently saw a comment to Pascal's Wager concerning how its users place equal weight to the two values of "Either God exists or He doesn't" (from memory):
quote: Just in case, I'll explain that joke. No, the odds of rolling a six (1 in 6) is not the same as rolling a non-six (5 in 6). But if you take six possible outcomes and collapse them down to only two, then you lose sight of what is actually happening.

I agree that we are all racist but it is NOT something to be proud of. Racism may have been "productive" in the days when small groups were competing for limited resources but it is counter-productive in a global context.

See above. What is the Ku Klux Klan protecting? That hate is self and peer imposed, to be used to protect what is loved and in jeopardy."Oh no, They've gone and named my home St. Petersburg. Case in point. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYV7KWQ-fY4 A gang without an enemy has no purpose. We all love competitions, to the point of loving war as the epitome of drama. Fellowship and love for ones own kind is still the creator of all that we are. That is why we all want to rule the world. To protect ones own first, and then the others. RegardsDL
