What sort of Ist are you?

I'm rereading old topics today. Sometimes I do that since I am looking for fresh perspectives.

after reading Percy's suggestion that Dredge was an "age-ist" due to him referring to her as an old witch, I found myself back at Percy's old thread, "Are You Racist".

So here I am. By the way, I think that Dredge despises Pelosey for her Liberal stance rather than her character flaws.

Nothing much really. I have no ax to grind with racism. We all unconsciously or consciously have it to varying degrees. My point is that Dredge is more of an anti-liberal than he is ageist or racist. Thats about it. My only beef with Pelosi is that she struggled with alcohol.

Dredge is an act, we have no idea what he actually thinks. As for liberal, Americans really need to use a different word for whatever you mistakenly think the word means.

But for the sake of discussion let's say she is an alcoholic, which is a disease. You have a beef with Pelosi because she struggled with a disease? Should people have a beef with you because you've struggled with diabetes?

We have seen the results of intergroup hatreds all over the world from Yugoslavia to Myanmar to Kashmir to Ireland to Rwanda to Lebanon.

If we do not tend these wounds, things will go worse for everyone, not just the ones on the "losing" end of intertribal conflict.

Racism is part of our evolution and so is liberality toward our own social group. We are trying to overcome our evolutionary heritage by broadening our social group to include other races and extending our liberality.

Ironically, conservatives like Dredge are trying to conserve our evolved flaws while at the same time denying evolution.

Ringo, Conservatives are the one who fought a war to
free slaves. Conservatives used the Constitution as
their guide. They were very much aware that slavery
was/is a moral sin. The Constitution clearly states that
"All men are created equal."

Even most Democrats in the Northern State supported
the right of Southerners to own slaves.

Slavery is a product of the Democratic Party (DP).

The DP is also the party that forced Native Americans
off their lands. They are the party that gave Smallpox
infected blankets to the Cherokee.

Hitler himself borrowed ideas from the Jacksonian
Democrats in regards to their taking land from the
NA when seeking to expand Germany's territory.

The DA is the party of lynchings; KKK; re-emergence
of the KKK; poll tax; and, breakup of the black family
unit.

President Roosevelt (D) signed executive order that
placed Japanese Americans in internment camps
during WW2.

The Republican Party was responsible for the passage
of women suffrage. Look it up.

In order for women to finally attain the right to vote, the
Republicans had to gain the majority in the Senate.

The majority of state legislatures to ratify the 19th
Amendment were controlled by Republicans.

The Democrats have not apologized for their atrocious
past. They pass it off as being committed by whites
and/or Republicans.

The DP has spent decades gaining control of the media
and educational systems. And, they have been very
successful at this.

Just like Hitler, the DP wants to control the future by
controlling the minds of our youth.

Yeah, he carefully didn't mention that all those racist assholes quit the Democratic Party and joined the Republicans in the '60s after Kennedy started integrating the schools, and then they slowly have taken over that party.
