The blue arrows, pointing to the first unread post in a thread, are now wrong. There were no blue arrows for some posts that I had not read. And there are still blue arrows for posts that I have read. Perhaps this is related to that "Admin" bug. Maybe the blue arrows are pointing to the first post not yet read by Admin.

I'm unable to reproduce this problem myself. Is the blue arrow problem still there? If so then I suspect a DNS problem. If you use Chrome, could you try resetting Chrome's DNS cache, because it is possible that "evcforum.net" and "www.evcforum.net" are not pointing to the same IP address in Chrome's DNS cache. Reset it like this:
- Type "chrome://net-internals/#dns" into Chrome's address box and hit return.
- On the webpage that comes up click on the "Clear host cache" button
If you don't use Chrome then please tell me which browser you useq and I'll figure out how to reset its DNS cache. If you have your own way of checking if the problem is fixed then use that, but if not then try this:
- Click on the "Announcements" link near the top of this page that's on the context line. This will display the threads of the "Announcements" forum.
- On the line for Moving to New Server click on the yellow folder. This will mark all the messages in the thread unread, and it will change to the light blue right arrow.
- Click on the light blue right arrow for Moving to New Server, which will bring you to page 1 of the thread.
- Click on the "Announcements" link to again display the threads of the "Announcements" forum.
- Click on the light blue right arrow for Moving to New Server again, which this time should bring you to page 2 of the thread.
- Click on the "Announcements" link to again display the threads of the "Announcements" forum. There should now be a dark blue down arrow for Moving to New Server.
Hopefully it's fixed, but if not let me know and I'll look into it further.

Spell Checking
I used to always see a red wavy underlining for words that weren't "spelled right". But no longer. I'm 70 years old. My father always maintained that as you age your spelling is the first thing to go. Whether I agree with the spell-checker or not, I still find it to be a handy feature. Not sure which server I'm still on (I chose the remain-logged-in option) should that be a factor. At least I've never been greeted as Admin.

I used to alwayz see a red wavy underlining for words that weren't "spelled right". But no longer. I'm still seeing that. My misspelling above was intentional, as a test. However, I think it is the browser that does this, rather than the site. I'm using "firefox 91.10.0esr" (and it thinks that "firefox" is misspelled).

The spelling stuff is specific to your computer. If you're not seeing wavy red underlining of misspelled words in the reply box for EvC Forum then you shouldn't see it when typing text anywhere else, either. For instance, mistype a word into the Google search box and normally you would see wavy red underlining there, but if you're not seeing it in the EvC Forum reply box then you shouldn't see it there, either. You should see it in both places or neither place.

Take a look at this. Edge has had some updates lately so maybe you got reconfigured. How to configure spell checker on the new Microsoft Edge.

Found it and that cleared up the problem. Thanks! Hate it when updates mess with my configuration settings (eg, MS' ultimate stupidity of defaulting to hiding file extensions). Looking earlier in the system settings there's a setting for displaying suggestions (eg, like what your phone's keyboard does). So I tried it and hated it. An associated setting was to autocorrect your text (AKA "autocorrupt"), a feature on my phone which I absolutely hate.
