Having just completed a significant release I took the opportunity to continue on to fix a long list of very simple bugs, releasing them without any notification over the past few days. Most had no visible effect, causing only inconsequential exceptions.But if you happen to notice any unexpected behavior please post a note to this thread.I still have a few more bugs to fix.

No bug is insignificant and if the bugs all go so will humanity.Only you can keep bugs safe.

If the edit comment field is left empty, no edit annotation is added to the message for ten minutes after the message was submitted. For example, this sentence was just added by edit.But the signature was added after 10 minutes had passed, so an edit annotation was added.

editing a message after 10 minutes also presents a box to allow moving the message to a different forum. Is this, in the idiom of NCR and Big Blue, an undocumented enhancement?

Is 10 min significant in some way?

Tested this new feature in Message 38 over in Stile's test thread.Seems handy for when we post a message and then we need to go in and correct some typos that we never see before we hit Submit Reply.Cool!

The Washington Post allows edits for around 10 minutes, and I’ve been at a couple other places I can’t recall that allow a “no record” grace period of around that long, so I chose that. But there’s nothing hard and fast about it. It’s easy to change.

The "Start Thread With Message" capability has been restricted to administrators again, as was originally intended. Thanks for catching this.

I've just released some very minor fixes over the past couple days. Some of the handling of blanks lines was incorrect, and that's been fixed. More exceptions were fixed, though they wouldn't be noticed by members.One I didn't describe before is the vertical spacing on block elements, like a quote block or an indentation region. Now the vertical spacing you use is the vertical spacing you get. For instance: ...then you'll get single spacing when the message is rendered. ...then you'll get double spacing when the message is rendered.I'm considering a "pretty" mode that always uses double spacing around block elements.About the peek feature, not only is there a "peek" button beneath each message, but when you reply to a message, that message has two buttons just above it on the right that control how that message is displayed. "Normal" is, uh, normal. "Peek Mode" displays all the original mark-up from when the message was composed.Oh, one minor new feature I forgot to mention is that [quote] now accepts an argument, just like [qs].
