Re: Missing "Reply To" Information
The missing "reply to" information should be restored now. Unfortunately it cannot be restored to the messages that were posted while the bug was present.

Why are strings like "so-and-so has not yet replied" changed to things like "so-and-so has taken no action"?
I changed it to "taken no action" because there are two possible actions: a) reply; b) mark it acknowledged by clicking on the "taken no action" string, which then changes to say that you've seen it (used to say you've acknowledged it). I can change it all back if no one likes it.

Message Being Replied To Not Displayed Properly
When replying to a message the display of the message being replied to is incorrect. It displays the text "Current Rendering" at the top. Some flag must be set wrong, causing it to incorrectly render a blink test version of the message.

This is working for me. Did it not work for you for this message, too?

List of dBoard 4.1 Changes/Features
Here is a description of the changes in version 4.1.
  • The rendering of blank lines has changed. Single spacing will always appear as single spacing, and double spacing always as double spacing. Extra vertical spacing is ignored but can be inserted by placing   on its own line.
  • Blank lines are now properly copied. Blank lines now copy/paste accurately into text boxes. For example, it used to be that this:
This is line one of the message.
This is line two of the message.
Would appear with no blank line between them like this when copy/pasted into a text box:
This is line one of the message.
This is line two of the message.
Now the blank line will be properly copied.
  • The [latex] code had stopped working because the website that generates our latex images had changed their URL format. It is now working again.
  • [size] has changed. [size=1] is the current font size. [size=.5] is half the current font size. [size=2] is twice the current font size, [size=3] is three times the size, and so forth. You can also include CSS units, for example, [size=12pt]. Here is a description of CSS units.
  • [table], [row], [col] has minor improvements. Without borders is now the default for tables. The formatting is now more consistent and precise. These codes accept two new parameters, "borders" and "center". Use "borders" with [table] to create a table with borders, and use "center" to center the table. Tables will still be centered when they appear within a [center] region.
When "borders" is used with [row] it creates a table row with borders around the outside of the row. Used with [col] it creates a table cell with borders.
The [row] code has a new parameter, "header", that gives its columns table header style formatting. Typically it would be the first row of your table. The text in the columns of a header row is centered and aligned to the bottom of the cell.

Re: Problem With Interplay Between the Noparse and Table Codes
Percy writes:
Trying to place table codes between noparse codes can experience problems. For example, this text in the message text box:
[table], [row], [col]

Produces this once rendered in a message:
[table][row][col]

The commas and spaces have gone missing.
This is now fixed:
[table], [row], [col]

qs Boxes Display
I could swear (in the positive sense this time) that qs boxes had a white border around them. Now they only have the qs blue background which is of a shade of blue only slightly different from the main text background. That makes qs boxes ("boxes have borders") rather difficult to see.

An apple a day ever stuns the onlooker.
Most important of all the Do Nothing Button continues working.
OK. In preview the background field of the qs/qs is a slightly different shade of blue and no border.
That's what dewise1 is talking about. Blends in so well with the background I didn't notice the difference.
Slow me. Reading around these few messages I thought it unusual that no one was using qs/qs anymore.
A border would be nice, please.

Re: qs Boxes Display
You are correct. If you do a hard reload on the browser window they’ll come back. The CSS changed.

It doesn't matter to me. I just happened to notice it.
