I’d heard that there was a rumour that #TzarVladimirtheCondemned had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

I heard Parkinsons. So it is all just rumors about #TzarVladimirtheCondemned

The attack does not go well for Tzar Vladimir the Condemned. The resistance, the west's response, the depth of the economic damage, most importantly, his utter humiliation before the world by an upstart comedian in Kiev and that geriatric hasbeen from Washington.
I feel a sense of confused loss from Putin. He may be looking for a way to declare victory, yank ~most~ of the troops and then go to his dacha a pout. But there isn't a way out. He has to kill Ukraine or kill Russia trying. The glory of Tzar Vladimir the Condemned as restorer of the Great Russian Empire demands this.
As for the response of the west? What choices do they have? Economic squeeze or nuclear war. Not a lot of wiggle room in that one.
I'm hoping Biden is smart enough to give Putin an out that gives him close to nothing without Putin setting off any nukes.
But, I fear that Tzar Vladimir the Condemned will take revenge and slowly extinguish the Ukraine while NATO can do nothing. He may tear at the very heart of the people just as one of his predecessors did in the Great Famine. And because of the nukes, and only because of the nukes, NATO can do nothing but watch. Well, I suppose they can bitch. More resolutions at the UN, less caviar in the store, that kind of thing.
That may end it. Who knows?

Stop Tzar Vladimir the Condemned!

I heard Parkinsons.
Rumor or no, if there are cognitive issues in the Kremlin then we have a most dire situation indeed.
In all US/USSR nuclear scares in the past the Politburo caused the First Secretary to abate his issues. Putin doesn’t have a Politburo. He has nothing that would act as a check on his dementia.

He also does not eat or drink at any "state" dinners. I wonder if he has food tasters? What a fun life he leads!

Exactly. That is why an autocracy is much scarier than the USSR ever was. There is literally no check on #TzarVladimirtheCondemned.

Frankly, I was really surprised that the world survived the cognitive issue we had in the Whitehouse 2017-2021.
Right now the whole world depends on the sanity of the Russian missile launch commanders

He should also be very careful of what surfaces he touches. Putin is not the only one with access to Novichok.

Re: LNA Unplugged?
Finland was the one attacking Germany.
Finland outlawed the Communist party.
Finland was close to Germany BEGORE the 1939 Winter War.
Everything I just said predated the Russian invasion, known as the Winter War.
Finland was ALREADY trying to take back Karelia, from Russia. I showed pre-Winter War evidence of that, and the evidence went all the way up to May of 1939.
The Soviet Union had counter offers, for security purposes.
Finland refused to give up strategic areas it owned.
The Winter War was as much Finlands fault, or more.

Finland was the one attacking Germany.
Not in 1939
quote:
Finland outlawed the Communist party.
Because they started a civil war, remember?
quote:
Finland was close to Germany BEGORE the 1939 Winter War.
Lots of countries thought they could do deals with the Nazis. And Finland was short of other allies against the Soviet threat.
Not to mention the fact that the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact gave the Soviet Union permission to invade Finland.
quote:
Everything I just said predated the Russian invasion, known as the Winter War.
Which isn’t that relevant.
quote:
Finland was ALREADY trying to take back Karelia, from Russia. I showed pre-Winter War evidence of that, and the evidence went all the way up to May of 1939.
Oh yes, fighting to liberate a minority people from their imperialist oppressors. I thought you were claimed to be in favour of that.
quote:
Finland refused to give up strategic areas it owned.
The Winter War was as much Finlands fault, or more.
So it’s Finland’s fault for not submitting to the imperialist oppressors.
Not buying it. It’s just an excuse for war.

Re: LNA Unplugged?
Russia signed the deal with Germany in August (every person on Earth knew it would only delay the certain future war between Nazi Germany and Communist Russia).
But Franz Halder was invited to Finland in May, 1939.
Every historical source says Germans and Finland were close all through the 1930s.
General Halder observed Finnish military maneuvers in the Karelian Isthmus. May 1939.
Stalin spent years trying to get Finland to swap the Karelian Isthmus for Russian territory.
Stalin wanted Finland to swap a bit more than 5% of its land, in return for Russian territory.
Nazi Germany was the stated reason Stalin wanted more distance between key strategic points, and major Soviet cities.
Finland refused. Stalin invaded. Russis won the 1939-1940 Winter War, and a peace agreement between the countries was signed.
The Soviet Union ened up with 9% of Finlands pre-Winter War territory. More than Stalin asked for.
(Finland got a generous deal when Lenin granted Finland independence in 1917, and Russia never oppressed Finland! Not Soviet Russia, anyway)
Finland was after Russia, post independence. Not vice versa, until the Nazi threat.

Finland was inbolved in Operation Barbarossa BEFORE world saw it begin.
Finland was involved in talks with Hitler.
MAY 20,1941!
It was called Opetation Barbarossa, by then.
Operation Barbarossa began June 22.
Finland launched the Continuation War. June 25.
Finland knew!
Finland supported.
(And it demonstrates Finland was consistently pro Nazi, all the way through World War 2)
(Beginning to end support of the worst fascism ever)
