I really need someone to provide me a link where I can translate Alfred Maddenstein's posts from the original gibberish into English.
That thread is in Is It Science?. The Alfred Maddenstein posts are more appropiate for Free For All.Fundamentalism - the anti-American, anti-Christian branch of American Christianity

Why are "Theological Creationism" and "Intelligent Design" bunched together on the same thread title?
Actually, that was about a forum where these kinds of topics could be discussed without the evidence requirements of the science forums.Fundamentalism - the anti-American, anti-Christian branch of American Christianity

However, to say:
nwr writes: is the same question-begging as I thought the title was, and just as biased toward the Darwinian camp. ...these kinds of topics could be discussed without the evidence requirements of the science forums. This is just nonsense. It has to do with the forum rules, not with question begging. There has long been tension that the evidence requirements for the science forums are hard for creationists and ID proponents to meet. So the particular forum was created within the "Social and Religious Issues" group, where different standards are used. You can still propose a topic in one of the science forums. It's just that there is also an alternate forum you can use with different evidence requirements.
It implies that NEITHER 'Theological Creationism' NOR 'Intelligent Design' are supported by scientific fact, and that's just not true of ID.
Nonsense. You can still propose topics in Intelligent Design, which is one of the science forums.Fundamentalism - the anti-American, anti-Christian branch of American Christianity

Yes, I agree that the "newbie" was out of line.
But I also agree with Jon, that it's best not to make a big deal out of it. I'd like to think that if we still had a "jeer" button, that post would have received a lot of jeers.Fundamentalism - the anti-American, anti-Christian branch of American Christianity

I logged in last night at around 11:30 central time. There were many spam messages, all appearing to be from the same newly enrolled member. As I recall, they were all in Coffee House. The account of that poster appeared to have been permanently suspended.
I read the one message that was not spam, then closed the tab and found something else to do.Fundamentalism - the anti-American, anti-Christian branch of American Christianity

There is a simple solution and it's entirely in PaulK's hands:
You suggest "ignore" as a "simple solution". But in the thread itself, you say things like
Engage or ignore. PaulK continues to run away
That seems to contradict the offer of "ignore" as a "simple solution".(from Message 711) Fundamentalism - the anti-American, anti-Christian branch of American Christianity

It appears that suddenly EvC has become a hotbed platform for Covid conspiracy nutjobs to spew dangerous fraudulent bullshit about science and public health.
I seem to recall that Faith was banned for this. We need some consistency.Fundamentalism - the anti-American, anti-Christian branch of American Christianity

I select a new image on my laptop and hit UPDATE Avatar and it says "Thanks", but doesn't change it.
Yes, that always happens. And similar things happen at other sites. After updating avatar here, I use SHIFT-reload to reload the page in "firefox". And then I can see the updated avatar.Fundamentalism - the anti-American, anti-Christian branch of American Christianity

The thread What Wisdom Should Society Adapt? should be moved to somewhere more appropriate, perhaps to Bible Study.

Roosevelt Institute There's a problem here. Your own quote says that drug profits increased by 20%. Yet you claim that as support for the drug profits being no more than 20%.Fundamentalism - the anti-American, anti-Christian branch of American Christianity
