DWise1 is indeed a wise one

Dwise1 is one of my favorite critics. He never insults me nor questions my reading ability nor does he criticize me in any way to boost his own ego. Rather, he succinctly and professionally diagnoses my rant/post and goes into great descriptive detail about why I may want to rethink my positions. My blood sugar and I both thank him for a job well done.
Excellent post on a rather contentious topic around these parts! I might add that he makes many such high-quality and descriptive posts elsewhere in this Forum.

Somehow this deficiency has not detracted from dwise1's thoughtful and entertaining posts.
I join in support this recognition.

Posts of the month are a near extinct item, but I think dwise pulled one off.
A fine message of what is intelligent design and what isn't intelligent design. Maybe the best I've seen.
Essentially, intelligent design results in getting a good result of optimal simplicity, while evolution results in getting a good(???) result of excessive complexity. Or something like that.

A POTM for December 2022
We don't do POTM's as we used to do here at the Forum, but I saw a gem of a post by dwise1 as he challenged the creationist logic of Dredge.

Apart from his last sentence, dwise1 was thorough and professional in his succinct response. I might add that his response to me in Message 1225 was also educational and thorough. dwise1 has been dealing with Biblical Creationists for a long time and can get frustrated with their repeated nagging arguments gleaned, as he says, from PRATTS found elsewhere.

Percy on the current Israel war
Message 23
In a way, Hamas, as well as Fatah and Hezbollah, are the creation of Israel. They only exist in their current form as mostly military organizations opposed to Israel's existence because Israel inflicts unending suffering and hardship on Palestinians, which only perpetuates an unending cycle of violence.
My position also.

See also the opening message of that topic, which is titled "Of Snarks and Dogpiles", which I don't think got POTMed, but should have.

Perhaps someone would like to reactivate that topic?

Great Big Wonderful Moose
Coming from a great big wonderful Moose this means something significant. I am very flattered.
"Great big wonderful moose" was sighed seductively by that femme fatale Natasha in her role as the "Lady in Distraught" at Wossamotta U as she tried to entice Bullwinkle. It worked. Bullwinkle was very happy.
And I want you to be happy, too, you great big wonderful Moose.
