If currencies were backed by a mineral, say gold, then economies could grow no faster than the supply of the mineral. I once gave you exact figures showing that a world economy backed by gold could only become poorer and poorer because the world population is growing faster than the supply of gold. You never addressed this point. You never address any point. It's like you're imitating the worst type of creationist, one who never provides any data or answers any rebuttal but just drones on and on repeating his points ad infinitum.

Before you lecture me on research, research the following. This is the height of irony given that nothing you say is accompanied by facts or rational arguments.
How much Gold does China own? I questioned this in another thread, but I'll repeat it. Why do you care how much gold the Chinese have? We think they have around $120 billion of gold. Let's say it's much more and that they actually have $500 billion. So what? Explain why you think it matters. Show that you've done some research instead of just listening to the YouTube yokels you're hooked on. Please quit collecting garbage on the Internet and spreading it here.

You should ask Phat why, according to his understanding, an once of gold is worth more than a ton of lead. Price of lead on 10/19/2020: $1,743 per ton. Price on 08/18/2021: $2,504. That's a 44% increase in less than a year. Phat should bye a ton of lead. He's going to need a bigger safe deposit box.

Duly Noted. Against the tug of my emotions and based on my (whats left of) my logic, I am suspending myself for a month in order to take care of my health. In addition, I am getting back in touch with my endocrinologist. I may still be crazy when I get back, but it is my hope that we can at least rule out high blood sugar as the culprit. Today is September 4th, 2021. I need a good month of self-imposed discipline. I will see you guys around October...perhaps October 9th is a good day. The Union Stewards conference for a very important upcoming contract is coming due around the first part of next year and we are having a conference Oct 13th and 14th, which would be a good topic for me to explore. Unless my sugars don't come down to where I can handle them...which is under 7.0 A1C. They are at 10.4 now. It likely will take 3 months to come all the way down but I want to be firmly headed in that direction. Thanks to all of you who actually care. I apologize for my rants.
