The Central Americans you talk about are from the same Central America we violently interfered in. The CIA dropped bombs, in 1954, on the Guatemalan capital, to drive out the democratically elected leader, Jacobo Arbenz, from Guatemala, because he gave millions of acres of land to peasants. He was, of course, called a communist, but he sided with the U.S. position, often, during U.N. votes.
The nation suffered from horrific dictators for many decades after 1954, with hundreds of thousands of deaths due to the situation.
Why should we have a problem with people dropping in here, when we dropped bombs there?
