That suggests that small changes in the volume of water can result in relatively large changes in the amount of land that is submerged.
Not just a suggestion - a fact. Something like 60 meters higher if the poles were to melt.
So we would never have to worry about elections in Florida again.

Re: CreationWiki Points
the water appears locked in moisture-containing rocks...
What do you suppose that word that begins with "L" means, Jz? And at what temperature do you suppose the water and rock 30 km beneath the Himilayas is?

Re: Yucatan fountain
Impact from below?
Of what, exactly? Satan’s pitchfork? A subterranean comet? Try harder, dad. Your BS is getting pretty runny here.

Re: Yucatan fountain
We all miss Walt. Not funny enough to get his own network show, but he could come up with some humor on occasion.

The early CO2 on earth partly got converted to carbohydrates in all the plant like on earth. A bunch more was captured to form limestone and dolomite, which make up a great deal of all the sedimentary rock in the crust.
Gradually by either method. Millions to billions of years.

A closed system if you ignore the sun. It’s too hot here this month to ignore it.

Re: Re evidence
I beg your pardon? How much water has the Earth gained in the last 100,000,000 years?
