It's all anecdotal, dear jar, I hear it on the radio from the people who have been given the med and recovered rather dramatically after being at death's door. If you'd rather just watch people succumb to respiratory failure without trying the drug which has been anecdotally reported to work for many people, after half a century of safe use for malaria, I guess you can enjoy the spectacle.

LET ME REPEAT THIS CRUCIAL POINT: HYDROXYCHLOROQUINE HAS BEEN USED FOR A LONG LONG TIME FOR MALARIA. A FRIEND OF MINE HAS FAMILY MEMBERS WHO TOOK IT WHEN THEY WENT TO MALARIA-RIDDEN COUNTRIES. SHE IS ALSO PART OF A MEDICAL COMMUNITY THAT HAS USED IT FOR YEARS. NONE OF THIS PROVES ITS EFFICACY FOR THE CURRENT VIRUS, ALL THAT DEPENDS ON THE ANECDOTAL EVIDENCE THAT IT HAS BEEN VERY EFFECTIVE. BUT YOU CAN'T SAY IT HASN'T BEEN TESTED IN WAYS THAT MATTER WHEN IT HAS A LONG HISTORY OF USE FOR MALARIA. IT OUGHT TO BE CONSIDERED WORTH A TRY FOR PEOPLE WITH SEVERE CASES OF THE VIRUS.

He doesn't need one. Without any kind of training or study, he knows everything about everything, much more than all those people who have actually studied such subjects.Just like Faith.

I personally don't believe the numbers China is reporting, for one little instance.The fact that restaurants in the area where it broke out can only do takeout rather than dine in says there still are infections. I just don't believe there are not new infections and no new deaths

Yet,there have been some indication it does absoultely nothing for covid 19 when it comes to clinical trials. Plus, a related drug testing was discontinued in Brazil because of heart failure side effects.

I had to call my bank to stop payments to Verizon.My phone is messed up, and I need to go buy a new one in the store. I was trying to call Verizon last night so they could help me keep my same number if I decided to get another Verizon phone. I was going to tell them that since their stores are closed, I would need to find a place that is open, if I could. Walmart might be open, according to rumors, though just about everything else is closed. I was going to tell them I would stay with them but it might not be 100 percent certain, since the stores being closed means that I see that as a reliability issue against the company.It turns out that Verizon won't take phone calls anymore, but their automated response says that they still take calls until 9 PM. I called them 4 hours ago, and the automated message system said that I was calling outside business hours It was 6 PM.I am finished forever with Verizon.My service will end April 14,when my payment gets rejected by my bank. The automated system would not let me cancel, and ironically I never wanted to cancel until I found out what a crappy company Verizon was the last day or so.On to get a phone from another company. I hate phone card hassle, but these days it might be the best option. Verizon is so difficult that I now feel cards are probably much simpler than bank or credit card routing payments.I am going to wonder how long we must deal with crap like this. This is a bad situation.

I am suspending Faith indefinitely.I'm sorry to do this suddenly and without warning, but the stakes are so high, literally life and death, and what she is doing is so irresponsible during this time of crisis, and efforts to channel her toward evidence-based discussions have been so unsuccessful, that I see no other recourse. I don't want EvC Forum to serve as a source of misinformation and cannot let what she is doing continue for even one more post.

Do you think anyone takes any notice at all of what Faith says? I find it hard to believe that anyone here would act on anything she says - she' a well known fruit-loop that couldn't tell the time of day correctly.
