You claim to know what he "meant". You claim he wasn't referring to white supremacists. You don't know that. You can't cherry-pick one phrase from one video and ignore everything else he says.

He was an adulterer and a murderer, hardly a role model. Of course it is. The obvious implication is that only those who are without sin are permitted to be self-righteous.

A distant relative of mine, by marriage, was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. He was a General in command of a division until he was fired for refusing to put the Hitler Youth in the front line.He may have been a "fine person" in some ways but he was on the wrong side fighting for an evil cause. It would be wrong to characterize him as a "fine person" in general.

It isn't "self-righteousness". It's an improved sense of decency. It's a shame that professing Christians like yourself and Trump are at the forefront of dragging "fallen" humans even lower. I am definitely capable. During the Vietnam War, I was in a discussion with some other Canadians, all of whom were against the war and all of whom were sure they would never participate in such a thing. When it was time for my opinion, I said, "If the government put a gun in my hands and told me to go halfway around the world and kill little brown people, the alternative being to go to jail or flee the country, I'd have no problem killing little brown people.But we have the benefit of hindsight and now we know that the Vietnam War was wrong, that the Nazis were wrong and that the Confederacy was wrong. You're a fine one to talk, now that you've managed to pry the brick off your caps-lock key. Yesterday you were praising hatred and spitting on the Bible.

Yes they did. They fed the five thousand and the seven thousand. And the parable of the good Samaritan shows that we should emulate the Samaritan by doing good to our enemies as well as our friends.

You should stop wasting your time on them.

There's nothing in the context that suggests He did it to show off His magical powers. And the only difference was that the Church didn't do it by miracles. The target audience was the same - everybody. ("All nations.")

But you ignore everything in the book that counters your own personal prejudices. And when you do (rarely) quote something to support your view, you're the one who ignores the context.

Yes, if you read only books written in English, you could draw the conclusion that all books are written in English.
