What's really amusing is that the two creationists on the forum don't agree about how creation happened.

For some reason EvC gets a motley collection of creationists. We hardly ever agree about anything.

That's because creationism has no mechanism for correction like science has. Creationists are free to be arrogant about their own opinions.

Well, at least I'd say those of us that like to try out our personal ideas are attracted to EvC for that purpose.

Very good Faith, finally something valid related to Creationism; that it is simply personal ideas and totally unsupported by evidence, reason, reality or even the Bible.

Welcome back dredgie. I agree that PE is magic masquerading as science.
Can you explain how a snail species migrating to a new area is magic?

The snail species didn't migrate anywhere, it got killed and buried by the Flood and stayed right where we find it in the strata.
And so did all the other species of snail in other parts of the strata, same as for every species of everything else too. Movement is purely an imaginative or magical idea.

Wow, the irony of you calling evidence imaginary or magic. You, who are enraptured by a completely imaginary creator. After 17 years here, the only person you've convinced is yourself.
What a waste.

I agree, that's pretty sad, but just as a matter of fact I was away for long periods during that seventeen years and I think it has been more like maybe eight years of total waste here.
However, it's just a matter of logic that, if the Flood deposited the strata with their fossils, the whole idea that you can trace geographical movements and evolutionary patterns from the fossils is strictly imaginary.

And if pigs could fly, the whole idea of aerodynamics would be strictly imaginary. But the evidence shows that pigs can't fly and the idea of aerodynamics works pretty well.

Still, the logic remains correct: if the Flood is the cause then the whole evolutionary interpretation is imaginary.

Good logic is worth nothing without true premises. The evidence shows that the Flood is a false premise, so no amount of good logic can make your conclusion true. The evidence also shows that evolution is a true conclusion; logic that leads from false premises to false conclusions is not all that impressive.

Well, the premise is true. Science does not show otherwise, only mass delusion.
