...I have been avoiding politics...I don't need the ulcer so I don't follow it. Well in your case, that makes a lot of sense. If you were to follow a subject, you might accidentally become informed, and I think we all understand your fear of that.
...also fake Republicans... And the Scotsmen! Don't forget the Scotsmen! At least you're predictable. Ignorant and dishonest, but predictable.

Pirro points out that Trump used to be hugely popular with the press and often presented him in a good light. She says he hasn't changed but once he won the Presidency on a conservative platform they committed to bringing him down. Utter, flamboyant bullshit. Trump was popular with the tabloid and entertainment fringe of the press. He was not of much interest to serious political reporters since he did little of value or relevance. Once he entered politics he came under the same sort of scrutiny as every other politician. He has not weathered that well. You lie, as always.

Did you ever sit across from someone with a wart on their nose? In polite society, we dont bring up any perceived or obvious flaws in others. So you're saying Faith's chronic lying is one of her immutable physical characteristics? Seems a bit harsh. I think it's more like having a shit-stain on the back of your skirt from undiagnosed anal leakage. In cases like that, which can be remedied, it is in fact your friends that point it out to you. Particularly if you endlessly carry on about how bad other people's asses smell.

Sorry there really is a conspiracy by the leftist media to bring down Trump but all we get is the inane declarations of what the press is supposed to be without a hint that anybody sees the total blitzkrieg that's going on. So quit your incessant whining and bitching and declaiming and provide some examples of of uncorrected untruths in the mainstream media. You're big on calling conspiracy, but short on evidence. The evidence is everywhere, open your eyes. Res ipsa loquitur. No content to support your claim. As usual.

As usual, when you can't support your claims you whine and call people names.

If you think that asking for substantive examples to support your claim is "spin", well, you're demonstrating why even Phat sees your thinking as a wart.

...oh for sure, the literal words are there ... And you wonder why I think you are a liar?

I know you are a vicious namecaller who has no interest in being reasonable. You mean unreasonable like asking you to provide evidence of your claim? Unreasonable like pointing out that denying that "literal words" matter is the very definition of lying? Sorry snowflake, if the shoe fits, you are going to have to wear it. I love your optimism. C'mon Faith, he's your man. Watching him can only strengthen your convictions, right? Or do "literal words" (Is there another kind?) frighten you? Or is that nagging inner voice reminding you that His Literal Words might put you in an awkward position vis a vis the truth?

It ought to be obvious that the press has not avoided attacking Trump's family though that is usually considered to be off limits. You should clarify what you mean by "attacking". Is the recitation of facts considered an attack in your mind? Trump's family exercised an unprecedented degree of involvement in his campaign. They are also actively involved in the affairs of the White House (daughter), have accompanied him to meetings with heads of state from countries in which they do business, engage in diplomacy at his behest (son-in-law), and are in charge of managing his business affairs in a not-at-all-blind trust that profits from his activities as president - eg. parking the entire presidential entourage at his resorts.
NOTHING THIS LOW HAS EVER BEFORE BEEN DONE TO A PRESIDENT'S FAMILY OR A PRESIDENT HIMSELF. That is irrelevant with regard to the family, since no president has ever before involved so many members of his family in the presidency. As to the treatment of the president himself, no president has ever behaved in such a childish and inept manner. He has made his own bed, and he must lie in it. That's what my conservative values tell me.

I think it odd that the part of the electorate that most loudly demands the ongoing right to bear arms for, amongst other things, the purpose of keeping government in line, gets cranky when someone gets shouted at in a restaurant. They seem to have lost their own plot vis a vis how careful politicians should need to be about pissing people off.
ABE - Jar's earlier post pretty much covered my thinking. Edited by Capt Stormfield, : No reason given.

I know enough to have an opinion, not enough to muster the evidence. You literally can't make this stuff up.
