To spell out more explicitly what others have said: You're not showing mathematically that evolution can't happen, but instead that your strawman version of evolution can't happen. I wasn't showing mathematically that the bee can't fly, but instead, that the flying function of the bee cannot result from the molecular recombinations in a gene pool of the population which lacks this function. And our geese will blot out the sun.

Nothing that anybody says here can stop him from doing experiments. If he did bring experimental data to back up his claims, he might have a leg to stand on. As it is, he's just re-interpreting the data from somebody else's experiments. That's a tired old creationist ploy and it isn't likely to get much respect here. He says he wants to try to prove this through e coli experiments? At this rate he'll never be able to get to that part of his argument....And our geese will blot out the sun.

I'm saying he SHOULD do experiments.
I didn't say he was going to DO experiments... Faith writes:
Why would he understand the experiments better than the people who DID them? ... he believes experiments that have already been done prove his point. The scientific approach would be to devise his own experiments to show How and why the original experimenters' conclusions were invalid. And our geese will blot out the sun.

Without reading the article, you might as well guess that Rumpelstiltskin made up the Theory of Evolution out of straw.
I'm going to read his article but I haven't yet. Faith writes:
Don't forget the peer reviewers. And all of the other scientists who have studied the results and given up their chance at a Nobel Prize for proving evolution wrong. My guess is that the people who did the experiments weren't looking for what he sees in them. No doubt there's a giant conspiracy of people refusing to acknowledge what one little goober could figure out with nothing but a pencil, a piece of paper and a grudge. And our geese will blot out the sun.

I don't even know why you're responding to me. I only summarized what everybody else in this thread was saying - and judging by the number of cheers it seems that my summary was accurate. I do think you all could do better at trying to understand what this guy is trying to say instead of piling up the straw man misinterpretations, and that IS what you all are doing. I haven't expressed an opinion on whether or not forexhr's calculations are correct - but even IF they are, they pose no threat to evolution. You can't calculate reality away. The strawman is his.

Yes, it is unusual to find two creationists who can agree on anything. He's the first creationist I've personally ever seen here who is arguing in a way I can follow....And our geese will blot out the sun.

If that's the crucial point, why didn't the scientists who did the work notice it? The crucial point of the article is this....And our geese will blot out the sun.

That's pretty bizarre. Telling you something you don't understand is "evasion" - but you can claim something you don't understand is wrong? If you are going to talk about something like melanin EXPLAIN WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. You are otherwise just doing the usual evasion. And our geese will blot out the sun.

The obvious is often wrong. It's obvious that the earth is flat, and that is wrong. You are denying the obvious. And our geese will blot out the sun.

That's what people are trying to tell you. Mathematics is a human idea that can not disprove what actually happens. Showing mathematicaly that such human idea is false, in no way means that the process of erosion does not occur. And our geese will blot out the sun.

If everybody fails to understand your statements, maybe you should consider the possibility that you're not stating it clearly enough. So, you are just one of many in this topic who is inept of comprehending the simplest statements. I would also appreciate an answer to my question: Why is it that you understand the implications of the experiment but the people who did the experiment do not?And our geese will blot out the sun.

I'm waiting patiently for you to answer my question: Why did the scientists who did the experiments fail to see the implications that you see. Why did the peer reviewers fail to see what you see? Why did the hundreds/thousands of semi-interested scientists who read the paper(s) fail to see what you see? I am waiting patiently for someone to come along and challenge this model. And our geese will blot out the sun.

So it's a conspiracy? That's all you've got? They're like all of you here, they are so totally blindly committed to the ToE they won't even really entertain a challenge to it.And our geese will blot out the sun.

They have considered forexhr's point of view and they've shown how it's wrong.
... there is a factor of their unwillingness to even consider another point of view. Faith writes:
That's so typical of you. You don't understand either side of the argument but you know which side is right. I can't really follow forexhr's arguments myself....And our geese will blot out the sun.

You admit to not understanding the OP. How could you possibly know if it has been addressed? Not one single person on this thread has actually addressed what the OP is arguing. And our geese will blot out the sun.

My question has as much to do with the topic as your OP has to do with evolution. Neither your question has something to do with the subject of this topic... When you get on an airplane, do you go up to the cockpit and tell the pilot he's flying wrong? Any unbiased observer would naturally ask you why you think you understand flying better than the pilot. And our geese will blot out the sun.
