I said nothing about Alex Jones. Why are you lying about that? Alex Jones has lots of strange ideas about religion. Somebody else posted something by JOnes, I didn't watch it. I know most at EvC WANT to be deceived about islam, which I have to take as spiritual deception to the max, but it's sad to think a Christian has the same attitude.
Oh wow. God's Name is sacred in the context of the Bible, you don't fool around with it. That's why the Jews won't even write out the word "God," but always write it with a hyphen.
But address the most telling point: Islam teaches that "Allah has no Son" and if you are a Christian I don't see how you can pretend there's any similarity with Christianity because of that alone. There are plenty of other obvious dissimilarities if you had any interest in learning them instead of believing in a friendship instead of God's word.
Keep in mind that I believe most of the same things you do about Jesus Christ, God, and Christianity. I have read lots of different opinions and beliefs. Granted I am more liberal than many in my church. I am, however, a critical thinker to a limited degree. I am wise enough, for example, to know that any judgement of our christianity from the folks here at EvC will not be based on the information,videos,tracts,sermons, or stated beliefs by us. They will form an opinion and a judgement of us based on what we say, how we act, and who we appear to them through the internet.

First of all, if everyone at EvC is so hopelessly deluded why do you even waste your time talking with them?
Second, what makes you think I am deluded? Does God ever show you anything? Do you think it is possible that He occasionally gives me wisdom also?
You are passionate about your beliefs---both on your blogs and here at EvC.
Do you believe in your heart that you are doing any good? Do you believe that you are doing as Jesus wants you to do?

As a matter of fact, I have an Islamic friend here in town...Tamer. He and I go play pool occasionally. I have brought up many of the points concerning his religion and my own. We are able to discuss them on friendly terms. He receives me as a friend. I occasionally share a bit of Gods word with him.

Making friends is the first part. Strangers on the internet will not receive you. Jesus is telling His Disciples that if they are received by the host families, Jesus also will be received and also His Father.
If you continually argue with people and hurl insults at them for rejecting your truth, they will neither receive you or the one who sent you.

The Roman Catholic Church murdered about 67 million in their 600-year history of the Inquisition, 50 million of them Bible-believing Christians, the rest Jews, Muslims and others. A poor showing compared to Islam's record which is over four times that number.
And as much as you dislike the comparison, Catholics ARE Christians.
The reason you are deluded is in what you actually said to your Muslim friends: that they have the same God you have. They don't.
Two points.
1) How would YOU do it? Would they receive you?
2) Is our God so authoritarian so as to simply allow these people to go to hell? Would not them receiving us first as friends open a door, perhaps...for Jesus to reach them?

but you do have the same god, there are just some minor discrepenices in your texts, sure jesus is not the son of god, but he is the spirit and word of god. Genesis is basically the same, the kain and able storry is the same eccept in the muslim texts god says his bloods cry out to me instead of the biblical his blood. Implying he killed more then just abel but every descendant able would have.....
