how tall are you? 256 cm for females is small? 168 cm for males is small. 256 cm for females is presumably a typo. --- ETA: compare the figures from Wikipedia, which are exactly the same except that WP has a 1 instead of a 2: "Neanderthal males averaged 164—168 cm (65—66 in) and females 152—156 cm (60—61 in) tall." Neanderthal anatomy - Wikipedia I rest my case. Edited by Dr Adequate, : No reason given.

Gigantopithecus:
This critter is known only from jaws and teeth, and the height/upright posture is based on the wider angle of the jaws--as a critter reaches bipedal locomotion the jaws have to spread at the base to allow the various parts of the neck to fit between them. Not all agree that Giganto had upright posture. In any case, Giganto is known from fossils dated perhaps as much as 9 million years ago to about 100,000 years ago. As such, it overlapped in time with modern humans, but was not generally found in the same locations. So, creationists believing in "giants" in biblical times have to: 1) account for the antiquity, far more than the 4,004 BC they often advocate, of Giganto fossils. 2) account for the lack of fossils or bones from Giganto within the time of human history. 3) account for the vast differences between Giganto jaws and teeth and those of modern humans from the same time period. And 4) just provide some evidence for the many claims made about giants. When you actually look at the evidence, Giganto is far more likely to be the direct ancestor to Bigfoot than to be part of a race of giants during biblical times. Religious belief does not constitute scientific evidence, nor does it convey scientific knowledge. Belief gets in the way of learning--Robert A. Heinlein In the name of diversity, college student demands to be kept in ignorance of the culture that made diversity a value--StultisTheFool It's not what we don't know that hurts, it's what we know that ain't so--Will Rogers If I am entitled to something, someone else is obliged to pay--Jerry Pournelle If a religion's teachings are true, then it should have nothing to fear from science...--dwise1 "Multiculturalism" demands that the US be tolerant of everything except its own past, culture, traditions, and identity.

Yea but there are quite a lot of teeth, curious that its just teeth but it could be a dwarf cock thing. But think about it today you see individuals that surpass 2,5 m, but 2-2.2,m aint that rare, now add that to the average size being smaller do to nourishment issues they would call them giants. imagine a bunch o 1,5-1,6 m tall guys seeing a farm bread 2,1 m tall guy they would consider him giant. And i can totally see a giant person like this die to a little guy in some battle way back when and trough generations of oral traditions it being written down, in some holy book. still not lending any credence to there being a god, there are cars in harry potter doees that mean harry potter really existed? There be a legend in a land not fare from me just over the hill along a windy road. It speaks of a man Martin Krpan that liked to trafic wit salt whiteout paying the Cezar's taxes. And this man was a Giant. One evening when a frightful blizzard sowed on a narrow road. He happened upon the Cezar, Make way cried Cezar charrioter but there was no place for the giants although small horse but fully loaded to go. Realising whose chariot it was martin picked up his fully loaded horse by the belly with both hands and moved him away. Curious Cezar asked what are you transporting said Cezar, Sharpening stones my Cezar, he answered. And cezar went and checked a saddle bag and as he opened he saw sharpening stones, but he did not know the stones where only hiding precious salt deeper in the bags. Cezar remembered this years later when all his knights falied to defeat a turkish champion, one on one he challenged scores and none could touch him. so he sent for martin, so as story goes he goes on testing weapons and all of them are useless so he makes an axe, then he chops down a large linden tree in Cezar back yard makes a mace, then he asks for a horse he pulls out every horse Cezar has out of the stable by the tail, then asks his men to try and do that to his horse they cant, so he challenges the turk they ride down the turk slashes his sword it gets traped in the linden mace he knocks him from his horse chops of his head Cezar asks what he wants as a reward he says to trafic salt tac free. and the tax man was pissed.
And there is some evidence for this legend from 300-400 years ago. Christianity, One woman's lie about an affair that got seriously out of hand What are the Christians gonna do to me ..... Forgive me, good luck with that. |

The Bible does mention that there were some giants in the pre-Flood world, but ‘giant’ is a relative term. To some people groups today, a US basketball ‘dream team’ would certainly qualify for that description. But there are limits to the degree to which one can speculate about the size of past members of the human race, and it is likely that the approximately 2.7-metre (9-foot) Goliath was at or very near the size limit.
Say a giant was scaled 4 times the size of an average man.The mass would have increased 64 times, the cross sectional area of the leg bones would have only increased 16 times. So, in order to support the weight, the leg bone thickness would have to be increased dramatically. Many other aspects of this ‘scaling up’ issue would mean that the entire human body would have to have been totally ‘redesigned’, such that the person would look very, very strange indeed to our eyes, and not just because of the ‘giant’ aspect. Of course there were giants, how can any sane person say there is no evidence. All evolutionists can do is deny deny deny. The only thing consistent about their thinking is that they deny truths.
They have their dumber than dumb artists conceptions according to their fake bones and wild imagainations... and yet of course deny the giant bones found all over the world. giant bones - Google SearchEvolution is not science. Why, would they deny, because nephilum or giants were why the Lord brought down and up the flood waters in the worldwide flood......
Nephilum were the resulting horrible results of the fallen sexual angels (SEE Sex threads I would have started, but denied) mating with our human women. In other words a CROSS BREEDING of different KINDS. This the Lord absolutely commanded these vile angels NOT do, and in their rebellion did do. The dating is as mentioned and discussed, 2300's B.C. and the bones of these giants or blood thristy ravaging beasts still remain, although they have tried to hide them. If you dont believe it, tough. Your denials dont mean they weren't HERE, and you evolutionists can return to worshipping your ancestors the monkeys and apes, or letter changing clades. Evolution is not science. It did not create life nor did it diversify life. It didn;t create the laws that exist nor did it create science. It is a religion and not Science. As I noted in post 6 of this thread:
If there indeed was a race of giants that information would be in the archaeological and osteological literature, but that information is conspicuous by its absence. You believe in giants? Where are the bones?Religious belief does not constitute scientific evidence, nor does it convey scientific knowledge. Belief gets in the way of learning--Robert A.
