We know what Trump would be like as President because we've already seen it on the campaign trail.
And also in business dealings and on reality TV and on Twitter and ...
Trump is simply a joke and not even a funny joke.

"What's good for General Motors is good for the country"
So scenario.
Trump wins Presidency.
Democrats take back Senate.
Paul Ryan remains as Speaker of the House.
What would the next four years be like?

That gives her two years to appoint court judges (lots of federal judge vacancies, not just Supreme Court) and the senate can invoke majority votes to approve with no filibuster. And that's it.
Actually that would be far more than I could even hope for. There are over 100 current Federal Judgeships open plus the deciding one on the Supreme Court. Federal Judges serve for life or until they retire. Add 100 progressive Federal Judges and a deciding vote (maybe more since there may well be additional SCOTUS openings in the next four years would do more to improve the US than most anything I can imagine.

Can't say it is a surprise.
But we need to remember that the US has survived many such periods. And that there are still lots of US owned lands to create new reservations.

Re: Can't say it is a surprise.
I don't think the Kochs or Big Business will initially be happy with this outcome. Nor would President Trump seem to be the kind of person who would take kindly outside folk trying to occupy his property.
But...
the Republican Party has an opportunity to place themselves as the Party in Control for generations if:
they institute a single payer health care system
they rape the Federal Lands to provide funding for Social Security
they legalize and federalize currently illegal recreational drug
they provide circus

What you still have utterly failed to show is that Hillary caused any deaths.

Another absurd post from you. Hillary has never been head of State or of any Military while every member of the German Army DID recognize Hitler as their commander.
Do you have any understanding of honesty, reason, logic or law?

IF a foreign politician voted to murder your children and parents based on lies, a crime of aggression, would YOU think that person would make a credible potential president?
It's a simple question that I'm quite confident you'll continue to avoid answering.
Do you think you can show the record of when the vote to murder children took place?
I will admit I have not read all of the Congressional record or watch all of the cspan broadcasts but I cannot find any record of there ever being a vote to murder any children.

Did you or did you not say "Let's try using the golden rule:

Are those not the very words you posted?

People might begin to take you seriously if they thought there was any hope you might ever be reasonable, rational or honest.

Re: 2020
If no one is alive in 2020 then it is a moot question however the evidence is that the US has survived many such incidents, a Civil War that was anything but civil, depressions and recessions, natural disaster, pandemics, Presidents like Reagan and the Bushs and Andrew Jackson and Andrew Johnson (maybe the closest comparison to il Donald), several World Wars, bank collapses, hyper inflation and stagflation.

Re: 2020
Well I think we can stop worrying about Global Climate Change. One of the key steps Trump has as part of his first hundred days is to turn NASAs gaze outward instead of inward navel staring at the Earth. That should reduce the alarmist news about Global Warming immediately.

Re: 2020
Yet the Nation survived. Granted it was not all that great for those killed and for those whose homes and property were destroyed but US Industry and the Railroads and the Highway system expanded and Egyptian Cotton Industry was started and the tinned meats industry and and iron clad warships and expanded telegraph and the Army Ambulance Corps and Aerial Reconnaissance and long range weapons and naval mines developed and many individuals also profited.

Remember Ike and Warren
Ike appointed a conservative Supreme Court Justice (by the way it was a recess appointment) by the name of Warren. He also appointed Conservative Justices notably a guy named Harlan that ended up supporting Civil Rights and Equal Protection and Due Process and the prohibition of Religious Tests by States and opposing censoring free speech and ...
And then he went on to appoint that thorn in Reagan's side Brennan as well as Potter Stewart. (but Whitaker turned out to be a dud).
People often turn out to be far different than expected.

Percy writes:
Will he build "the wall"?
"The Wall" is a serious subject down here, particularly as implemented so far. As it now exists down here in South Texas it sometimes passes through peoples property dividing land that is under use and even puts some homes on the Mexican side of the wall. It cuts off access to the river that once was simply another part of life. It's not just along a "border" but a real wall that disrupts life more for our citizens than it seems to discourage illegal immigration.
