Far out.
It's sad to see that you post an honest question and this is the kind of response I get; suffice to say Pressie that I'll not be bothering to respond to any of your posts in the future. PS- the derogative term you're looking for is "Seppo".
This is the forum link in question:
http://hotcopper.com.au/...ion-rather-than-evolution.2830412
It's an investment forum I'm a member of; a question was posed which was outside the scope of that forum so I thought I'd turn it over to the members here as EVC forums are (IMO) the best place on the web for this type of discussion.
Now- if you really want to know. I have my degree in Applied Physics but I haven't worked in a lab for quite some time. I'm now helping out my brother in his stonemasonry business- he needs people, I can do the work and (oddly enough) it pays better. I haven't been here for two days as I've been taking care of my kids while my wife attends court due to the mistreatment of my two daughters by my father-in-law.
Hope you're real proud of yourself.
Mods- unless there's any valid reason, I think it's best that this thread now be closed due to this unwarranted and disgusting attack upon myself.

His quibbling over the spelling did not help his defense.

What exactly is it that Lomu needs to defend? You're both being paranoid and it's weirdly comical.
Oh, and Urban Dictionary is hardly a primary source for the spelling of a word

Years of putting up with creationist trolls has many of us leery. The things pointed out are hallmarks of a sockpuppet.
That Lomu felt the need to push his bonafides by quibbling about the spelling of the word is a worrying sign for me. I don't know or care how it is spelled. The need to correct Pressie is what is concerning.
Been down the road of sockpuppets around here for a ling time. Being cautious is not uncalled for. That is called himself a scientist just because he claims a degree in a scientific field is huge red flag. It is a classic right wing christian tactic.
Now that this has been explained lets move on.

I have to admit to having some doubts about Lomu, primarily because of his claimed inability to deal with a completely ridiculous article. My eyes were rolling into the back of my head about three sentences in.
But quite frankly, I don't have any problem with what a creationist would do with my honest response to the questions Lomu asked. Maybe the article will be improved to something more fun to rebut. On the other hand, I imagine that if I was a creationist trolling EvC, I would be quite pleased if I received a hostile, suspicious response to questions that I could assert were harmless. I could then complete my assignment by writing about the frothing paranoids I encountered when I asked simple questions.

No, I just feel sorry for you all because you've fallen for the Big Lie. I expect the world to contradict scripture, scripture tells me that it will and why, although I must admit I'm surprised at how insistently it is contradicted. By now you'd think I'd no longer be surprised by it.

Funnily enough, I feel sorry for you for the exact same reason. 🙄

It really wouldn't take much foresight, if you are composing a book of nonsense that you want people to believe, to realise you need to include some counter-measures against disbelief.

Wow, I have never seen a creationist admit so readily that their God is a liar. And so casually accepting of it!

Yeah, Faith expects reality to contradict his/her favourite interpretations of his/her favourite holy scriptures. So, I guess that Faith doesn't believe much of Protestant or Catholic or Eastern Orthodox or Jewish Bibles.

So you are claiming you are not just some troll. How about you contribute to your own thread?
You have made no responses discussing your OP. You point to another forum so you must have a basic clue as to how forums work.
Genomicus, Pressie and Riggormortis have made substantial replies to your OP, how about having the decency to address and respond to their points.
Unless....
