Are we in a new world Empire? A NWO?
War of any real significance is almost impossible. Our ability to destroy the whole world will scare any one power from ever declaring a world war. TVO | Current affairs, documentaries and education The link above, and history, shows how various nations are coming together to form larger and yet larger cooperating groups of nations. Almost all nations now are members of the U.N. and Free Trade is the new buzz word and goal of all nations. Thanks to technology, diverse cultures and languages can be melded to a point where everyone can be understood by almost everyone else. Computers now translate between diverse languages and the artificial borders we have created between peoples are almost all gone. The link above indicates that the unification of mankind is inevitable and a natural desire for us all to belong to the biggest and most powerful tribe. We have generally agreed to let the U.S. be the world police. We have also created a World Bank and monetary fund that basically ignores borders. All banks will soon have to all work under the same rules. Are we already in an Empire that includes the whole world? Are we in a NWO? RegardsDL

Count the bodies. You will find that the numbers are hardly worth the notice if you compare them to other epochs and conflicts. If the death toll was higher then the major powers just going into action today would have gone in a lot sooner. We do not see a lot of people joining ISIS and that is why we are taking our time in ridding ourselves of that nuisance force. As to a major conflict, the huge trading groups would not allow it nor are leaders likely to forget our capability of assured mutual destruction. Do you really think the world insane enough to ever go into WWIII? RegardsDL

Scary. With the new and rather large trading agreements that encompass many nations coming out, --- and globalization of banking, --- does that not look like the world is going more into rapprochement than separation? RegardsDL

I hear you but they might be learning from the past or just need the time to put all the players on the board before declaring a real NWO. The rapprochement we are seeing in trade says it all. Business want's global markets that are unrestricted and they will eventually buy it as they go about buying up our political leaders. Our oligarch owners want to maximize profits and that means making banana republics out of all of our countries. I do not mind because at that point, with the technology at hand, we might end with an open and transparent system where we can actually know who our leaders are. We should actually promote a NWO just so that we can know who owns us and demand a redistribution of wealth and an end to poverty. RegardsDL

"Tell the Syrians that the bodies of their children are "hardly worth the notice". Out of context and if that is all you have then go away. RegardsDL

It is out of context because we are analysing numbers. not indicating how we should feel about life or death. I venerate life and dislike seeing any death. Yours was a disingenuous remark and a moral woman would retract and apologise. RegardsDL

True to a point but the filthy rich were not supposed to get as greedy as they have. Have a look and tell us if you think that the situation is getting immoral on the part of the rich. 9 out of 10 Americans are completely wrong about this mind-blowing fact. - Upworthy To me, it begins to look like we all belong to some oligarch. There is no bill of sale but we are all slaves. RegardsDL

That happens because the masses will not make moral judgements thanks to their slave conditioning of kowtowing to their masters. I have posted this often while asking if it is showing an immoral situation and almost no one judges it at all. 9 out of 10 Americans are completely wrong about this mind-blowing fact. - Upworthy With that kind of slavish mentality, the masses will never live in the democracies they crave and will just settle for the oligarchies we all live in. We need a French Revolution across the whole world. RegardsDL

We have never really had a communist nation with a flat socio economic demographic pyramid. Even Russia and China have/had hierarchical shapes to theirs. We need to have democracy dismantle our present oligarchies and produce a moral looking socio economic demographic pyramid for the whole world. That is the moral way to go. At present, conditions are such that those at the top are protected the way no one else is as the system protects their money and position. That is a form of eugenics at work. I am putting links to a lot of information below. I hope you have the time to have a look at it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzQYA9Qjsi0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-rpkZe2OEo RegardsDL

You seem to be saying that what I think are our strong points to be deficits for mankind. The ambition to have us all the same is hardly moral. It may in fact be immoral. We used to think eugenics to equalize us all to be immoral. I think it still is. I do not see us as greedy but do recognize we have a selfish gene that wants to see each of us become the best or fittest of our species. I see nothing wrong with our instincts and would not try to work against them. If you know of Jung and Freud's Father Complex, you will know that our instincts drive us to compete so as to make us the fittest. If they did no, the weak would definitely inherit the earth, as Jesus put it, but that goes completely against nature. The drive to the greatest fitness is not a deficit but man's greatest asset. Have a look at this graph and see that the robber barons of yesteryear are still with us and sitting at the extreme right of this graph. 9 out of 10 Americans are completely wrong about this mind-blowing fact. - Upworthy I also just picked this up and may be the latest information. "Our individual selfishness is quite definitely a weakness in a mutually supportive society." Good Grief. You have it all backward. You are trying to say that nature and our survival instincts have it backwards. Our selfish gene's default setting is to cooperate. Not to compete directly as it knows that the best survival strategy is to cooperate which you agree with. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIc-4h9RIvY That cooperation default continues into young children and remains until our so called adult systems forces them to compete. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-eU5xZW7cU "It's also our greatest weakness, which is why we have laws and regulations to control our worst instincts." A weakness would not have the fittest emerge. We have laws and regulations for the stupid whose instincts have been suppressed by the human systems we have put in place that force us to compete. Our instincts know that it is better for survival to be in a group. We select the group based on the cooperation we see and wish to maintain as our default position. Only after we grow up do we change that default to competition so that the adult world can seek the fittest of our breed through the more strenuous competition. If we did not, the weakest would inherit the earth, so to speak, and mankind would regress in terms of fitness and that is why survival of the fittest is the best way for us to go. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T64_El2s7FU RegardsDL
