quote:
You and yours are just all bent outa shape that Ariel Sharon has done and continues to do what needs to be done to fulfill Biblical prophecy. The Bible stands true and if the world refuses to recognize that, the world will never understand what is going on in the Middle East.
Oh, I wish I had seen this thread earlier.
If the Bible is prophecy, that is it will happen without question, why does it require anyone to do anything intentionally? Furthermore, why does it require that people do horrendous acts against others in order to get it done.
Couldn't the Jews simply have saved up enough money to buy the land they wanted, and then received acceptance to form a new country? It may have taken more time, but what's the difference if it means greater peace and not having to repress or defraud anyone?
I mean there is no worry that if they did it that way it wasn't going to come true, right?
Frankly I would laugh and laugh and instantly convert if God came down and said "You greedy jerks, don't you trust me enough to love your neighbor and not kill and not covet land, and I'd give it to you in good time? Just for your arrogance and lack of faith... not to mention breaking commandments... you lose everything!"
But back to the point, why in specific are you able to absolve a man of horrific crimes against other humans just because he appears to be helping fulfill prophecy? So i could become a massmurderer, and as long as I quote the Bible and clear land everything is kosher? Sounds like you just cut agents of the devil some huge amount of slack.
And finally, if the likes of Ariel Sharon and the actions he commits are fine to you because he is trying to fulfill prophecy, and prophecy is that all nonXians will be killed or cast into some sort of limbo so that Xians can rule the world, why is it again I am supposed to hate muslims more than Xians?
You guys are two sides of the same old, dirty coin as far as I can tell.
And saying you don't hate anyone, but certain people just got to die because God says so, is not being honest. Whether your hate derives from your God (who admits he is hateful and jealous) or from yourself, it makes little difference, and grants you no benefits. If you are for someone else's death because of who they are, you are hateful.
