Nope.The wavelengths are on the spectrum.But the color is a reaction of our eyes, brain, and other factors to those wavelengths. Or maybe it's the color yellow...

It is a fact that there are photons with a wavelength between 495 and 570 nanometers but "green" is not a fact. It's subjective.When a tree falls in the forest there are vibrations - but are they "sound" before they strike an eardrum? The answer is subjective.

Most people only have three color receptors that define our "primary" colors. Some females have four with orange added due to some sex linked gene associated with colorblindness in males. Tetrachromacy occurs in birds, fish, amphibians, reptiles and insects. They see four primary colors.What you see depends on what you look with.Enjoy

Truth, facts and reality are a bitch ain't they. Unless your willing to question your own preconceptions, maybe this is not the place for you. The people here are some of the smartest I have ever had the pleasure to have a debate with. They will call you on everything.

If you need to qualify "fact" with "true", you're just making the "truth" of your "facts" less certain.

To my knowledge, it has not actually been confirmed that any human is a tetrachromat.I digress, that was a surprisingly interesting discussion about facts.
