Guns don't bother me, psychotics, criminals, sociopaths, racists, misogynists, religious fanatics, right-wing militia and so on with guns bothers me a lot. How about a government whose handout-wielding credit card just ran out? How about a global warming wack-job?

Well decryptedmatrix.com sounds like a trustworthy site. And when they write stuff in all caps and punctuate it with triple exclamation marks, well that just makes them seem even saner. They also believe in chemtrails, they're worried about the Illuminati, they're convinced that 9/11 was an inside job, and they think that you can alter your genes by meditating.

How about a government whose handout-wielding credit card just ran out? Huh?
How about a global warming wack-job? Even the most belligerent of denialists has yet to start shooting climate scientists. They usually confine themselves to screaming halfwitted paranoid nonsense on the internet.

Isn't it obvious that if just one person in the Bible Study had a gun many would not have died? Just one person did.

While the data for that may exist Percy, I have yet to see it. Do you have it? What is clear is that any guns owned by members of the congregation were more likely to be used against themselves, family members or friends than for defense. This thread has been active for over two and a half years with more than 3500 posts, so I guess it wouldn't be reasonable to ask you to just read the thread, so I went through some of my old posts to see if I could dig out some links for you:
I spent a half hour finding these and didn't get even halfway through the thread, but I have to stop now. --Percy

So you don't believe what they claim about Switzerland? If I showed you other sources that said the same thing, would you still not believe it? Did you believe the other link that said that the 57%of the Swede vote was against gun control?

Huh? The U.S. is in financial trouble. I see you didn't listen to Trump the other day.
Even the most belligerent of denialists has yet to start shooting climate scientists. I know. And even the most belligerent of evolutionists has yet to shoot up a church. Or have they?
They usually confine themselves to screaming halfwitted paranoid nonsense on the internet. Nobody screams like Al Gore

You might want to go to a reputable site and actually read facts about Switzerland. Right wing nut job sites are not reputable.
The first statement is not true. The second is true because men between 20 and 30 are members of the military or militia. I would have no trouble for people to have to be part of a well regulated militia in order to have a gun(actually that is what the Constitution actually says). The third statement is not true. Do you actually think a comparison between the US and Switzerland is valid? Here are some facts about guns in Switzerland. Most are not in homes.http://www.washingtonpost.com/...-are-not-gun-toting-utopias Facts don't lie or have an agenda. Facts are just facts "God did it" is not an argument. It is an excuse for intellectual laziness.

I don't need to revise it, I just need to make what I was saying clearer to you. I said individuals, or citizen groups not POLITICAL LEADERS like you named. Political leaders in the U.S. aren't included in any gun control laws. Neither are the vast armies of police or military that take orders from them.

The Washington Post? Quoting from an assistant professor of epidemiology at the School of Public Health at the State University of New York? Certainly these must be unbiased sources!
So there is conflicting information on what Switzerland does. You believe yours, and I'll believe mine.

I see you didn't listen to Trump the other day. I listened. It was hilarious. Standup comedians across the nation are applauding his decision to run.Fundamentalism - the anti-American, anti-Christian branch of American Christianity
