Re: The Pro Life nutjobs
You haven't provided evidence of anything you claimed yet. ONE instance of trashing a clinic in decades of peaceful protesting. And you would actually say that, wow, we might find a violent person walking in that peaceful protest parade although doing nothing violent? He's thinking violent thoughts perhaps? You must be out of your mind.

That is the same clinic jar evidenced
Of course it is. The quote came from Jar's link. I was pointing out something in it that you had overlooked. Of course it is only one of the 8 clinics he fire-bombed.

And your example, which may or may not be a different case I don't know, is of ONE man's criminal behavior
I never said that it was anything else.

you like to smear the thousands of peaceful protestors with that one unrepresentative person
I do ? Please tell me where I attempted to do that. It seems to me that that better describes your behaviour.

Oh gosh, just pull out the PC terms "discriminate" and "equal treatment" and you can make a case for legitimizing anything you want. Gay marriage is a travesty, but of course it is being crammed down the throats of the majority of the people with all that false PC verbiage trailing off it and eventually you will triumph over all reason and be a very happy man.

Please tell you where you attempted to do that? I'd say you must be joking but obviously you are just blind. You did it in that very example, as I already pointed out. You smeared the decades of the thousands of peaceful protests with that one criminal person.

Obviously not, as your failure to make a case against gay marriage shows.

Just more empty rhetoric. Which just shows that you claims about the Constitution are also empty.

Why does their vote count more than the votes of the rest of us?
Um ... that came across as a bit crazy. No-one said they did. When you add up everyone, treating everyone the same, you get 55% favoring gay marriage.
In any case that doesn't change the fact that the many gay marriage bans expressing the popular viewpoint ...
But the "popular viewpoint" is in fact in favor of gay marriage. As the poll shows.

No Faith. I can see that what you said is not true.

And how did I do that ? I didn't say anything about the peaceful protesters. I simply pointed out that you had missed the best piece of evidence that Jar had provided.
You will note that I haven't supported any of his other links at all. I think that all his other links are rather poor, to be honest, not demonstrating anything worse than harassment of patients (which is bad, but not on a par with death threats).

Same-Sex Marriage Support Reaches New High at 55%.
55% is a majority, Faith. It's a bigger majority than that by which we've selected any President since Reagan in '84. It's a majority, Faith. If we banned gay marriage, that would be "crammed down the throats of the majority of the people".

Bullshit Faith. I am a Christian and support same sex marriage so once again you are shown to be at best misrepresenting reality.
And here is St. Stanislaus church showing support at the gay pride parade:
That's Father Marek on the far left. He's totally awesome.
Got himself excommunicated, but a cool guy nonetheless.

The Very Reverend Katherine Hancock Ragsdale who is married to the Rev. Canon Mally Lloyd.
Both certifiably Christians.

What's the difference between being reverend and being very reverend?
I've never heard that before.

Re: Christian?
the Very Reverend refers to a Dean and the Right Reverend refers to a Bishop. Reverend Canon refers to a Canon who is also a priest. Most Reverend would refer to the Presiding Bishop.

Jar calls the antichrist apostates Christians and you make a big deal out of one poll that claims there is now majority support for gay marriage which is possible, SOMEWHERE, but doubtful. Possible because that's the way the propaganda is going, SOMEWHERE because it's only one poll, and doubtful for the same reason, against the many states that have put gay marriage bans on the ballot that have been wrongly ignored by the sick evil unconstitutional courts of the land. Even if your statistic is the current trend, the past majorities against gay marriage were wrongly treated by the courts.
I'm not sure about the rest here, except jar who will say any old lie, but I suspect you know what you are doing, which means you are going to be held more responsible in the end than those who are just mindlessly believing the lie.
But again I'm trying to leave EvC. I hope this is the point when I can actually accomplish it.

How many people have to support something in order to propose a ballot?
