never read the Bible have you?
No, God does not claim to have inspired and preserved the Bible which is why there is no such thing as "The Bible". In fact, the only books of the Bible common to all the different Canons are the first five books.
You do know what the Canon is don't you?

Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!

It's a message from God! Says so right here...
Colbard writes:
God claims to have inspired the writing and preservation of the Bible, so it makes sense to communicate with the author about its content.
Those who penned the text claimed to be divinely inspired--as did those who anthologized them, the Councils that pruned them and the translators who performed as the king required.
All sacred texts claim to be divinely inspired--apparently, we need to consult the full pantheon.
But if you are afraid to communicate with God then, we don't have anything to discuss, except ideas that have been in circulation since the French revolution. Ephesians 4:18 KJV.
How about we discuss ideas in circulation since it was determined that psychotics are not demon-possessed?
Those voices in your head are not God's.

Where does this God claim to have inspired the Bible? In that same Bible, perhaps? Or do you have some independent publication of His?
Doesn't that seem a bit circular to you?

I will discuss what it says about the earth's interior when you have received the answers. But if you are afraid to communicate with God then, we don't have anything to discuss, except ideas that have been in circulation since the French revolution. Ephesians 4:18 KJV.
I just talked to God. He says the Bible is rubbish. I hope you aren't afraid of his communication.

Discussing hollow earth theory
To all of the recent replies,
You already have all the answers about the earth's interior, makes me wonder what would drive you to converse with a misguided delusional person, quoting from a scientifically unreliable source, what is more, none of you are able to remain on the topic, but are caught up in personal problems that interfere with you logging into the Source I proposed.
You don't like what I have said, and you don't have any use for the references from the Bible.
There is no point in me replying here.

Your post is in our Science Forums. Here, you have to expect that evidence is required to support one's claims.
You don't like what I have said, and you don't have any use for the references from the Bible.
The bible is not evidence! It is subject to multiple interpretations, as it is littered with allegory, parables, and allusions, and has been translated from one language to another several times. And the selection of books to be included, or rejected, has been very subjective.
As Heinlein noted,
The Bible is such a gargantuan collection of conflicting values that anyone can prove anything from it.
There is no point in me replying here.
Your choice. But realize that the fact that you are dodging our replies suggests some things about the strength of your evidence.

Religious belief does not constitute scientific evidence, nor does it convey scientific knowledge.
Belief gets in the way of learning--Robert A. Heinlein
How can I possibly put a new idea into your heads, if I do not first remove your delusions?--Robert A. Heinlein
It's not what we don't know that hurts, it's what we know that ain't so--Will Rogers
If I am entitled to something, someone else is obliged to pay--Jerry Pournelle
If a religion's teachings are true, then it should have nothing to fear from science...--dwise1
"Multiculturalism" does not include the American culture. That is what it is against.

Re: Discussing hollow earth theory and other nonsense
1. Your post title says its nonsense,
2. What I have posted is nonsense
3. The Bible is nonsense
4. You probably thought it was nonsense in the first place
5. You came here to clean up the nonsense
6. And succeeded
7. And now you are sitting in a thread that's going your way
8. I have just agreed to your declarations
9. So you're here waiting for what?

Re: Discussing hollow earth theory and other nonsense
The way one wins a scientific debate is by offering evidence from the natural world and arguments built around that evidence in support of their position, not by claiming, "God and Bible say so." This thread is in the Geology and the Great Flood forum, which is one of the science forums. If you prefer discussion that is more faith-based then you might take a look at the threads in the Faith and Belief forum.
By the way, Ephesians 4:18 is about Gentiles, of which I assume you're one? Even in faith-based discussions, name-dropping Bible references as if they settled everything is bad form.

I had hopes that a few questions would cause you to focus your thinking. But you are too weak to respond to any opposition to your idea. I wonder what reason such a person would have to visit a debate site?

Re: Discussing hollow earth theory and other nonsense
Only you have concluded that the Bible is not of any scientific value, that's your opinion, that's fine.
So what have you said about the earth's interior? or do you just reflect the opinions of the majority? If so, you would not be here on this "out there" topic would you?

That the Bible is not of any scientific value is not an opinion but rather a conclusion based on solid evidence.

Re: Discussing hollow earth theory
The hollow earth theory, is not even scientific is it?
The question is what are you doing here?
That's a puzzle isn't it, and I can tell you are still curious about what I could have said about the interior of the earth.
Put it this way, if man discovers what is in the earth, then the Bible is wrong.
All you have to do to prove it wrong is dig!
When they do drill down far enough, the end of the drill will 'melt off' without physically melting from heat.
"Oh rubbish" says NoNukes. "Where's the evidence for that! what nonsense!"
Of course I have no idea of what I am posting, the predictable reactions, don't even know why I am here?
By the way, if the information is only in the Bible, and there is no scientific evidence for it, does that make it wrong?
According to Percival, it's not science - have to ask a panel of unwashed men first. Intellectual codependency?

Yes I was curious. I am curious about you, what you think, and why. I am curious as to whether you can rationally explain what you think.
However my curiosity is greatly diminished after a few non answers.
By the way, if the information is only in the Bible...
You are unable or unwilling to show us how the Bible describes the interior of the earth.
