Re: You knew sinners bought cakes when you baked them.
I notice that you keep dropping claims without offering the slightest support. But I want to know who is "being clever" and how.

I have a rather different view of anti-discrimination laws. But you're obviously not interested in actually discussing those issues. Which is one of the ways that we can tell that you're the hater here.

Perhaps you could point to the laws which made Hinduism, for example, illegal in the United States, and tell us when they were repealed.

Re: You knew sinners bought cakes when you baked them.
Obviously Biblical Christians oppose gay marriage, so obviously a law that prevents us from doing that is designed only to persecute Christians, there is nothing legitimate about it. The hatred is all against Christians who believe what the Bible says.

Yes, even the Deist founders were in favor of the Ten Commandments.
ok give me some examples of how the founding fathers used the 10 commandments as laws ???
And then provide the approximate times the nation self destructed and stooped obeying each commandment.
Thats what you got to do in order to convince me that the 10 commandments where on their mind when the founding fathers wrote the constitution.

It's not at all obvious that Biblical Christians should oppose gay marriage, as a secular institution. Nor is it obvious that you can judge a law based only on one of it's effects. And if the hate is against you, why are you the one making wild accusations and refusing to understand the issues?

If I ask when a law was repealed it should be pretty clear that I don't think that it is in effect now. So you aren't answering the question at all.
But I'll rephrase it. Which laws enforced the First Commandment, and when were they repealed ? You said it was only done recently.....

Re: You knew sinners bought cakes when you baked them.
It not designed to hate Christians. It's to stop Christians victimising innocent people. Like we can't victimise black people.
Christians want to treat gay people differently to to straight people. If you act in a way that is against the law you reap what you sow.

The above ontological example models the zero premise to BB theory. It does so by applying the relative uniformity assumption that the alleged zero event eventually ontologically progressed from the compressed alleged sub-microscopic chaos to bloom/expand into all of the present observable order, more than it models the Biblical record evidence for the existence of Jehovah, the maximal Biblical god designer.

We expect to be punished for it. That's what I've said. You aren't going to relent on your evil law so we will have to be punished. End of story.

Re: You knew sinners bought cakes when you baked them.
I said they spoke approvingly of Christian morality, spoke of it as essential to a good society, and you can do the research. There are quotations on the subject from all of them, that have probably even be quoted here before. They had no reason to oppose anything in the Ten Commandments. They were totally nave about the pagan religions though.

Re: You knew sinners bought cakes when you baked them.
You're characterising a requirement not to discriminate as punishment. In other words, you want to be able to discriminate against people so badly, that a law saying that you can't is seen as a punishment to you.
Now, I suspect that you're using a bit of hyperbole with the talk of Christians being punished, so I want to explore a little where it is that you draw your lines.
A few messages back, I referenced the old chestnut about God telling Moses to stone a guy to death for picking up sticks on the Sabbath. Am I correct in presuming that you do not see it as punishment of Christians, that you are not legally able to kill folks for working on a Sunday ? Is that one which you would agree would be over the line to allow ?

Could there be any greater conceit, than for someone to believe that the universe has to be simple enough for them to be able to understand it ?

Re: You knew sinners bought cakes when you baked them.
You're characterising a requirement not to discriminate as punishment.
That word "discriminate" is a politically correct whitewashing word, pure evil. You are making a false moral equivalent between an aberrant sexual condition and a legitimate natural classification of human beings such as race or sex.
And I am not characterizing the requirement as punishment, the punishment will come as a result of my refusing to obey the requirement. The requirement is, however, persecution. It's a set up to target Christians. Nobody else, just Christians.
The only person in history that I know of who ever said homosexuals could marry was the crazy perverse Caesar Nero. You are all following in SUCH worthy footsteps.

Re: You knew sinners bought cakes when you baked them.
There's plenty to take issue with there, but again, I want to know if you draw lines elsewhere, so that I can work out if your views on homosexuality are a special case.
So just to zero in on this, is it equally persecution, that Christians aren't allowed to kill folks, for working on a Sunday ?

Could there be any greater conceit, than for someone to believe that the universe has to be simple enough for them to be able to understand it ?
